Tour de medio día a Pompeya desde Ravello

My driver Antonello, picked me up exactly as advised and he was able to point out lots of interesting things on our way to Pompeii. He was a polite and considerate driver. The guide at the site was excellent. She knew her stuff and was much more interesting than other guides I could hear. She encouraged questions and gave plenty of time for viewing and photographs. Loved it.

Irena was in contact with me the day before to coordinate our pickup in Amalfi. We were onboard a cruise ship. On the morning of the tour, our driver Mr. Michele D'Auria was texting early. Once we got to the meeting point on shore, I texted we were there and he called. He was already there. He was from Pompeii so he had a wealth of knowledge and the city, old and new. His driving on the extremely curvy and narrow roads was excellent. He took us to the tour guide station at the site and had us join a group. Pompeii was excellent! A must see. It has been on our list for several years and it didn't disappoint. Only thing I would add is more time in cooler weather but that is all on me. I guess we will just have to come back. The tour company Aiana Travel and their representatives have all been easy to communicate with.

Very nice experience. Loved the pickup and return to hotel and connecting us with the guide. Our guide was funny, informative, and engaging. Pompeii ruins was very interesting. Im glad we chose the half day in June 2026 as it was scorching hot outside. Our guide was very mindful of that and made every attempt to follow the coolest routes. We were very please with everything.

Celeste was a wonderful tour guide who kept it moving and had an enormous amount of knowledge. Really enjoyed our experience! Glad we got there early because it can get pretty busy around noon. Perfect amount of time (2hrs) to see a ton of stuff.

Did not see enough although the guide was knowlegeable.

We spent a very informative two hours with our lovely guide, hitting the highlights and learning the history. The place was packed with people and kind of overwhelming in scale. So we found our guide to be extremely helpful. She had some minor technical issues early on with the microphone and earpieces, but this was quickly corrected. Well done!

We had a wonderful slip the line tour with the expert guide. Claudia met us at the Pompeii site and over the next 2 hours gave us the best highlight tour. She was full of knowledge an out the archaeological site and how the ancient Romans lived at Pompeii based on evidence. We had a group of six people for the tour which really helped with getting close and being able to listen to the guide. Our driver Eduardo from Amalfi/Ravello also died a great job navigating the traffic and going up and down the mountains. If you have only a half day to see Pompeii, I recommend this tour.

Great morning of enlightenment and education. While the ancient city itself is massive, it also can seem quite daunting. Fortunately, our guide brought the ruins to life with incredible storytelling, a solid understanding of history, and a good sense of humor. As we navigated the crowds, he showed us hidden details we might have missed on our own, and painted a vivid picture of daily Roman life before the eruption. In addition to the tour of Pompeii, we were provided a driver to shuttle us from Ravello to Pompeii and back. Our driver, Eduardo was the perfect driver and companion for the two hours we spent in the car. He is charismatic and is knowledgeable about the history of this region, and generous with sharing. A careful driver, he speaks excellent English, and wants to make sure his clients are comfortable, asking us if we wanted to stop and take photos at scenic areas and playing Italian music for us. Do yourself a favor and ask for him when you book your transport.

The experience was phenomenal. Not only was Michele an excellent and personable driver, but he made everything smooth and easy. Our guide at Pompeii, Paolo, was funny, informative, and made learning about the ruins and the history extremely engaging. I would book with this service again and again.
