Bienvenido a nuestro tour a la cueva más cautivadora y cueva más grande de Europa: la cueva de Postojna. Después de 45 minutos en coche, experimentará el viaje con el tren subterráneo de la cueva de Postojna. Allí se pueden ver formaciones de cuevas hechas en miles de millones de años y crías de dragones. Sí, esta es la cueva más grande de Europa. Tendrá una breve parada para tomar un café. Continuando al castillo más fotogénico de Eslovenia - Castillo de Predjama para parada de fotos. El castillo de Predjama ha estado encaramado en medio de un acantilado de 123 metros de altura durante más de 800 años. Después de la parada de fotos conducimos de vuelta al punto de partida ( app 50 min ). Entre la información histórica, cultural y de la naturaleza, le proporcionaremos también hechos que ven la vida, para entender cómo transcurre la vida en nuestro país. Bienvenido a sLOVEnia! If you are coming into Trieste on a cruise, I highly recommend this trip. We were whisked away from the ship to the beautiful country of Slovenia in just a few minutes. Our luggage was safely secured in the back while we toured and it was an easy drop off at the train station. Our guide Andrej gave us lots of great information about trieste, Slovenia and the places we visited.

Positive: very nice local driver and the country is gorgeous. A pretty drive to cave and castle Negative: This was billed as a private tour but it was really just private driver to the caves and the castle and back. The caves tour itself involved getting on a train with about 70 other people for about 15 minutes (cave is pretty amazing) , then walk for about 45 minutes but we couldn’t hear the guide or understand him and we had asked for audio guides at the start and were told no so it was difficult to know what we were seeing. Then a 15 minute train ride back. Quick drive and stop at the castle (which is cool). So we essentially paid $500 for a driver since the tickets were less than $40 each…not a good value

The Postojna cave is definitely worth visiting. In addition, our tour guide, Maurizio, was very friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and his interesting stories about Trieste and Slovenia made our excursion most entertaining. The restaurant he recommended for lunch was also very good so all in all, this excursion was both enjoyable and memorable.
