A nice local place with a colorful Egyptian atmosphere. Beautiful decor, friendly people and a relaxed vibe. It felt authentic rather than touristy. A good spot to experience local culture and take some great photos.

We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide Ali. He was incredibly polite, friendly, and made us feel very welcome throughout the journey. Ali shared so much interesting information about the places we visited, and his knowledge really brought the history to life. He took us to Al Azhar Mosque and Al Hussain, and guided us through the area with care and insight. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful and engaging guide in Cairo!
Ali was our tour guide and he was amazing! His passion and love for what he does was evident, and he was so knowledgeable and welcoming. We had a change in our itinerary so had to book this tour last minute, but Ali was very accommodating and also tailored the tour based on our interests and schedule! The tour was a great balance of culinary and history/architecture/culture, and he took us to many local spots that I wouldn’t have known about— I would highly recommend this tour for anyone!
Kaseem, our guide, had excellent English and led us on a food tour of the traditional Egyptian food, fruit drink, hot drink with chickpeas and ice cream. Afterwards we had a walking tour of old town with some shopping. He gave us good advice to avoid scams. Overall, he spent 4 hours. The driver took us safely thru heavy traffic and was always on time to pick us up.
Amazing tour guide very knowledgeable. Showed up exactly on time and we took a shuttle from the hotel straight to the pyramids. Was with us the whole time and gave us tips on the best places to take pictures , the history of key sites and tips on what to avoid ( scammers etc who try to hustle you ) . We spent the whole day with him and the final stop was the grand Egyptian museum . We had plans to join another food tour in the evening . He drove us all the way to the location but due to the traffic we were not able to make that tour . We instead asked Kassem if he would be able to give us the tour . Even though he had another client scheduled he went out of his to help us and made some calls so that we could join his group ! Overall I highly recommend this company!
Met up with Kassem our guide and visited Koshary Abu Tarek for their traditional dish. The restaurant was lively and service was good. Then we went down the street for a juice and an ice cream. It was Saturday night so many people and families were moving around. Then we made our way to the old town within the walls of Old Cairo...the Fortress of Babylon. There we saw many historical structures and Kassem explained the history and importance. A bizarre/market was there with many things to see and take home. We stopped to rest and get some tea and talked with the others on the tour. The weather was nice. People were friendly. I recommend this tour with Kassem. Narmer Tours also arranged a driver for me to help with transport and he was professional and courteous.
Kassem was a fantastic tour guide! I’m so happy we booked this tour. He and a driver picked us up at our hotel and drove us into Cairo for quite an experience. Side note: the second seatbelt in the back of the car wasn’t working. Kassem valiantly offered to give me the front seat because I wasn’t comfortable riding without a working seatbelt. We started by going into a famous koshary restaurant - it was delicious and was super crowded with locals. Fun to see families and other enjoying a night out. Then we walked around some of the main streets, had freshly pressed juice, ice cream and then made our way to the bazaar. The bazaar was very interesting and beautiful to see. As we walked, Kassem told us about the history of the city. After mint tea at a cafe, our driver picked us up and delivered us back to our hotel in Giza. Highly recommend as a great way to get a feeling of Cairo in the evening. It was fun to see the hustle and bustle, so many people out walking and enjoying themselves. Kassem was a knowledgeable, trustworthy and kind person. We enjoyed our time with him.
This tour was so perfect it saved our trip. As female travelers, we had the opportunity to walk freely at night and see local spots. We tasted traditional food from the best places and learned so many interesting things about old Cairo. Kassem, our tour guide, was extremely helpful and very patient with us as we enjoyed the Al Khalili bazaar. He customised everything to our needs. The whole experience was excellent. Also, the car service was excellent.
This was my first day of tour with Narmer Tours & Mohamed Ahmed Elfar, CEO of the tour company itself was my guide for the day right after I landed in the Cairo airport. We explored the Islamic Cairo on foot & he spoke good English and explained each part of the town, the monuments & the historical significance of them well. I would not have explored some of the darkest alleys of this part of the town had it not been for him. Despite landing after having spent 17 hours on flight, I still enjoyed my tour with him while grabbing a meal & a delicious Egyptian mint tea along the way. I was given a very scathing view of Cairo but I never once felt unsafe in the company of my guide or the driver assigned to me. I met Mohamed as a stranger in the airport & at the end of my solo trip to Egypt, I bid him farewell as a friend. I am glad that I engaged his services for 5 days in succession to cover the most part of my tour not just in Cairo but also Luxor & Alexandria.
I really enjoyed my tour with Muhamed. This being my first time in Egypt, he really made a great first impression of the city by showing me lesser known spots along with tourist attractions. I learned a lot from the tour info itself and very helpful advice about traveling Egypt in general. Spending my first day with Muhamed was time well spent!
