Fantastic day exploring Litchfield with our guide Aaron! He was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience really fun. We got to see stunning waterfalls and lots of interesting spots along the way. Traveling in a small group in a cozy van meant we could stop easily and make the most of the day. Highly recommend!
Book in season and make sure there are enough in the group. I booked this primarily to see jumping crocs because of the hotel pick up but that was cancelled. But Aaron was an amazing guide so have to give 4 stars for Lichfield Park.
the litchfield park tour was great. a small group in a minibus and aaron the guide was friendly and knowledgeable and managed to create a nice social environment and athmopshere. he told us about the native food, aboriginal culture and crocs. was a great way to see the park with other people if you are travelling solo. we visited 4 different locations and Aaron took photos which were distributed later. this is a great option if you have limited time (830-530). ito the package, i was charged $200 for the litchfield park tour and this excluded lunch which was $20 extra. i ordered the combined litchfield park and jumping crocodile cruise and was told the jumping crocodile cruise isnt happening in same say due to only 2 people booked but that i will be taking the next day in that. i was told thst cruise is $20 which i havent paid. the litchfield tour is $170 on their website so something doesnt quite add up. after much arguments i decided to not go. also note the jumping crocodile cruise is on an artificial lake in a wildliffe park its not the actual cruise on an actual river in nature.
Fantastic tour, Dan is extremely knowledgeable, thoroughly recommend this tour. Scenery is spectacular.
Hi Bruce, Thanks for taking the time to leave a stellar review. Great to hear you had a awesome day with Dan. Cheers Aaron
Perfect day with a brilliant host Aaron. Everything exceeded our expectations and the kids (girls aged 15 and 12) loved it all
Cant see the actual name but I guessing the review is from Belinda :) Penny and Elsie were awesome. Im glad Elsie was tasting the bush foods and the ants hehe. Safe travels and hope to meet your other daughter one day!! Cheers Aaron
Aaron was a fantastic guide. He was the perfect balance of informative/chatty and quiet when I wanted to close my eyes during the drive. It was also very interesting how he made several stops to introduce us to the vegetation occurring naturally in the land and demonstrating how various plants were eaten or used.
Geoffrey you are a absolute champion mate. Was awesome to spend the day out. Hopefully next time I can meet your family when you come back up. Cheers Aaron
Shout out to Aaron great guide very knowledgeable and caring didn’t rush our time in the pools lunch was great. Excellent day would. Highly recommended
Thanks so much for the review. Its our pleasure to show you around. Hope to see you again. Glad you had a great day! Cheers Aaron
We, (husband and wife) went on an extended vacation which included many tours, and the tour we talk about the most was the Litchfield Park and Crocodile Cruise + Bachelor Town on May 2, 2024! It is so memorable because of how beautiful and fun it was! Our tour guide, Arron made it even more memorable by being so knowledgeable and personable. He knew everyone on the tour by name as he got to know each of us, and in turn, we all got to know each other in the group. We had so much fun swimming by the waterfalls as he took pictures of all us for our memories. He went the extra mile for us all. We learned so much about the many wonders of the park and its history. This was one of a kind experience that we will never forget!
Konstantine, I appreciate the awesome review. It was my pleasure to show you and Trina around for the day. I am so glad that I could be apart of your travel experience and make it one of your favorites. Hopefully my friend, we will cross paths again!!!! Safe travels to you both. Cheers Aaron
We were picked up from our hotel in a 20 seater bus. The backs of the seats impeded our view except for out to the side. The driver gave a very informative commentary. It was a long drive to the Litchfield National park but interesting scenery . We looked at termite houses. We visited 3 waterfalls , had a delicious lunch, and a swim. We visited a quirky pub. It was a very good excursion and we would recommend it. Not enough people were interested for us to do the jumping crocodiles experience.
Hi Pamsy, Thank you so much for rating your experience with us so highly! Cheers Aaron
This was a great day out with a knowledgable and friendly guide. We had such a good time checking out a variety of different swimming holes. Even getting to one with no other people around. Lunch was great with plenty of sandwich options. We had a person in our group who is unable to eat gluten and the team were easily able to provide options for her that ensured she was able to eat plenty. Not something we have always encountered with other tour providers so this was very much appreciated. We weren't able to get to the Jumping Crocodile Cruise the same day as our park tour but the team made sure that we were able to get out to do that a few days later. We would 100% recommend joining this trip if you want to visit some amazing swimming holes in Litchfield Park!
Thanks for the stella review Helena. It was a pleasure to meet you all. We do cater for dietary needs and make sure every can fill their bellies :) Hope to see you soon! Cheers Aaron
