Durante esta aventura caminaremos por la gloriosa naturaleza ártica y los bosques nórdicos. Las enormes cascadas congeladas seguramente impresionarán y crearán paisajes extraordinarios para la fotografía. Ríos congelados y gargantas escarpadas perforan el paisaje nevado mientras caminamos por el sendero para visitar la cascada congelada. Descansamos alrededor de una fogata en el cañón y disfrutamos de los espléndidos alrededores y contemplamos las poderosas cascadas congeladas, que se destacan de la naturaleza ártica agreste y pura que nos rodea. Durante la aventura nos detendremos en un lean-to y construiremos un fuego, sobre el cual su guía de fotografía preparará un almuerzo ligero para el grupo. Esta aventura es su mejor opción para experimentar la naturaleza versátil del Ártico, incluyendo bosques, cataratas de hielo, ríos, acantilados y naturaleza salvaje. Had such a fun day at the Frozen Waterfalls of Korouoma Canyon! ❄️ Our guide Sarah was awesome—super organized, made sure we were all geared up for the cold, and kept things safe while still relaxed. The walk was beautiful, with plenty of stops for photos (she took some amazing shots too!). Ended the trip with a cozy BBQ—sausages and marshmallows by the fire hit the spot. Definitely a highlight of Finland.
Gorgeous frozen waterfalls and really great hike. We loved the BBQ sausage, sandwich and berry juice! Met great people and our guide Amelia was excellent.
This small group tour is great! The guide who is also our photographer knows where and how to take beautiful unlimited photos for all of us. Besides the stunning frozen waterfalls, this tour provides hot berry juice and BBQ lunch (sausages and buns). You get to BBQ your own food as well in the snowy woods which is another experience!

I think this is one of the most underrated activities in Rovaniemi! The hike is hard, but it's not super challenging! You should join them if you have the time! They did a circuit trip, and the photos taken by our guide are really nice. They will provide snowshoes with spikes for you as well. The view along the hike to see the frozen waterfalls is just jaw-dropping.
