Informative, good value and guide spent an extra half an hour with us.
Hannah was an amazing tour guide. We had a group of 4 total and she was so kind giving everyone her attention and answering our questions to the fullest. In total it lasted 3 hours. We walked around the city, stopped for a beer (compliments of the tour!) and got to hold artifacts and then hopped on the tram (ticket included with tour) to go see the crypt. Overall would 100% recommend to anyone looking to really understand the history of Prague during WW2 and why this beautiful city still stands today.
It was a great way to see the city and learn about its history! Would highly recommend for anyone interested in WW2!
Meeting point was easy to find. Our tour guide Hana was excellent. She is like an enciclopedia. Knowledgeable, ready to answer any questions and she has a lot of interesting post cards, pictures , magazines of that time to show.

This has been our favorite tour in Europe and we highly recommend it for fans of history. This tour covered much more than expected. For over three hours we learned about the buildup to the war from the perspective of Czechoslovakia and the tour guide even did impressions of world leaders of the time. The tour guide took us on the subway to historical WW2 locations, most notably the church from Operation Anthropoid. This was especially nice because we had a chance to see Prague outside the tourist bubble. The tour also took us to Old Town sites to give us insight into the war, including locations for the Prague uprising. We ended the tour in a 1000-year-old Old Town castle crypt looking over historical documents. My only criticism, and we're used to this as Americans in Europe, is we would rather not listen to the tour guide's irrelevant criticisms of recent United States foreign policy, even when we agree with it. Ten-second snippets of snarky commentary are pointless when discussing complex topics and not what we paid for anyway.
So much information! My wife and I love history and this city is an amazing place to see for that and many other reasons. Our guide on this tour, (that is almost an hour longer than what the description says), is the type of person who knows the "modern" history of WWII so well he can show you the places and tell you what happened there in a way that makes not only see what happened but feel what is was like going through those times. Just a couple things to be aware of if you take this amazing tour: • It ends a fair distance from the starting point so be aware you know how to get back. • The meeting location "near the green kiosk" is fine, but there are several within eyesight of each other so look really hard for that black umbrella! • There is about as much talking as there is walking on this tour, so if you're not really into WWII history, or have the 3 hours and 15 minutes you'll need for this tour, you might try a different one.
what a mega interesting tour with absolutely enthusiastic guide! an absolute must for history lovers (with subject wo2) we had a tour of 3 hours and 15 minutes. the guide told a lot and also showed images from then and now. his private collection was mega unique and for the last piece even tram tickets were provided! I have 0 points for improvement and would do this again! See less
Absolutely incredible tour! Our tour guide knew an incredible amount of history and presented it in a compelling and informative way. The tour was about 3 hours and 15 min- not too much walking and there is part in the middle where you are seated for about 30 min. Had the chance to see and hold artifacts which were chilling and added even more to the experience. Highly highly recommend
The guide was extremely knowledgeable. He is passionate about passing on what he knows. He took us to a little restaurant that was closed and we filled a room of tables while he shared more stories and trinkets and photos from the war that he had collected. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.
