This is a very good way to get around Cape Town. We used all three lines - red, blue and purple. The commentary on board was very informative and clear to hear. The commentary is heard using earbuds that come with the ticket.
We were told you could only scan ticket once so my husband tossed his. It turns out he needed it and even though we had proof of payment they refused to issue a new ticket. Thought it would be a good way to see the city but you would be better off using another company. It was ridiculous that they wouldn’t issue him another ticket or just let him on. The receipt even had the date
Too many steps to complete the whole process you can simplify by creating boxes to tick QR code should be sent by email and sms as an individual email and not hidden inside text messages I struggle to find the QR code and kept everyone waiting in the queue I am retired and new technology changes and create unnecessary steps and processes Keep it simple keep it easier to navigate
Great way to see the events and decide which ones warrant a closer look with more time. Many activities were fun to see but I didn't need to see them again.

Better organized than any other hop on bus I've used in other cities! There's a tracker website to see how soon buses will arrive, and staff at the office locations help with any questions you have. At some locations there's a staff person at the bus stops to help out.

Excellent value for money and a great way to see the area. We booked the two day premium experience and took both the red and blue routes. The red route took us up to Signal hill as the cable car was closed for maintenance and we had fabulous views across the city. Worth having a stop here for 20 mins and walking around this point before heading off to Camps bay for a walk along the beach and views of the ocean. Heading back to the main terminal at Victoria and Alfred and chance to shop in the waterfront. Blue route is the Peninsula which takes in the botanical gardens and then around Hout Bay before joining the red route back to the main terminal. Driving was good, information at stop off points about the timetable was well posted and the routes easy to navigate and plan. Definitely worth the trip if you have only got a few days to see Cape Town,

Great way to see the island. Can change to the purple bus for the wine region - Groot Constantia was well worth the visit. Would recommend the botanical gardens too
