Descripción
A lo largo de este recorrido, visitará algunas de las ciudades más hermosas de Herzegovina, como las cascadas de Jablanica, Mostar, Blagaj, Počitelj y Kravice. La entrada es gratuita para todas las atracciones turísticas, excepto la entrada a las cascadas de Kravice, que cuesta 10 EUR por persona durante la temporada. Primero nos dirigiremos a Jablanica, localidad ubicada en el Cantón de Herzegovina-Neretva. Después de eso, visitaremos Mostar, que es conocido por su icónico Puente Viejo, un puente arqueado medieval reconstruido sobre el río Neretva. Después de eso, nos dirigiremos a Blagaj, donde se recomienda tomar un descanso para almorzar en un restaurante, junto al manantial del río Buna. Además, iremos a Počitelj, que es una ciudad medieval histórica que data del siglo XIV. Nuestra última parada será en las cascadas de Kravice, un lugar favorito de muchas personas para relajarse y descansar durante los calurosos días de verano. ¡Incluso puedes ir a nadar aquí!

La ciudad histórica de Mostar, que abarca un profundo valle del río Neretva, se desarrolló en los siglos 15 y 16 como una ciudad fronteriza otomana y durante el período austro-húngaro en los siglos 19 y 20. Mostar ha sido durante mucho tiempo conocido por sus antiguas casas turcas y el Puente Viejo, Stari Most, por el cual lleva su nombre. En el conflicto de la década de 1990, sin embargo, la mayor parte de la ciudad histórica y el Puente Viejo, diseñado por el renombrado arquitecto Sinan, fue destruido. El Puente Viejo fue reconstruido recientemente y muchos de los edificios en la Ciudad Vieja han sido restaurados o reconstruidos con la contribución de un comité científico internacional establecido por la UNESCO.

Blagaj Tekija es un monasterio de derviches fuera de Mostar, Bosnia, que tiene casi 600 años. Situada en la base de un acantilado, junto a la fuente del río Buna, es una serie de edificios únicos y pintorescos que se ven incluso mejor en persona que en las fotografías.
Se cree que la ciudad fortificada, junto con los asentamientos correspondientes, fue construida por el rey Stjepan Tvrtko I de Bosnia en 1383. La ciudad amurallada de Počitelj evolucionó en el período del siglo XVI al XVIII. Arquitectónicamente, las partes construidas en piedra de la ciudad son un complejo fortificado, en el que son evidentes dos etapas de la evolución: la medieval y la otomana.
Las cascadas de Kravice, originalmente conocidas como las cascadas de Kravica, son uno de los sitios naturales más bellos de la región de Herzegovin en Bosnia y Herzegovina. Ubicado en el río Trebižat, cae en cascada desde un depósito de piedra caliza tuff particularmente grande y hacia el lago que se encuentra debajo. Toda la zona está protegida por el gobierno estatal, pero está abierta al público local y a los turistas para visitas e incluso para nadar.

My husband and I absolutely loved the day trip to Herzogovina. We visited some really stunning places and learned a lot about the history from our knowledgeable guide Mido. I would certainly recommend this tour.

We really enjoyed the trip from Sarajevo to Herzegovina. We went in mid of December where temperature in Sarajevo was -1 and we could see the temperature going up as we approached Herzegovina. Our guide was Vekas. We, including kids, liked him a lot. Vekas is very friendly, quietly spoken, and a very gentle person. He was more of a friend with us than a guide. We went to Jablanica, Kravic, Pocitelj, Mostar, and Blagaj. We had a wonderful lunch in Blagaj. It is shame that night falls fast in December, otherwise we could have seen more of the beautiful Herzegovina.

Amazing tour! Our guide Vekas was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and full of recommendations. He picked us up at our apartment, drove us out to the beautiful countryside, and stopped at five beautiful locations. We never would’ve seen as much for so little money without this tour. We even stopped at an amazing restaurant for lunch. This tour showed us so much of the country- there’s so much more to see than just Sarajevo. I highly recommend this tour. Don’t miss it.

We took a tour with Vekas from Torus Tours, stopping at Jablanica, Kravice, Blagaj and Mostar. Communication was great and Vekas text me the day before to confirm details of pickup, also letting us choose the music in the car! He was very friendly, chatty and informative, telling us the history of each place, and also gave us some time to explore on our own.
