Fantastic time with Albert! Great guide and a wonderful tour. Leisurely pace, shared local history as well as local food. This is a food tour everyone should do. Highly recommend.
It was a pleasure showing you around Carla, thank you!
Absolutely a highlight! Great tour, easy ride, amazing experience. Met our guide and went into town, stopping at the small farmers market and a couple of other stands. Ate amazing breakfast pastries, traditional almonds, and ended with lunch at a local tavern. Learned a lot about the town and it's history and even saw some sea turtles. Thank you!
It was a pleasure to have you guys here in Argostoli. Thank you!
An excellent laid back little tour around Argostoli town with stops at points of interest, with tasters from each. We rode through parts of the town and across the bay over the De Bosset Bridge. As a group of two adults and two teenagers we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour, especially the teenagers! We're not all big bike riders and this tour was probably only about 5k ish in total so easy enough for most. Albert was welcoming, informative and did a great job providing pieces of local knowledge and stories. We visited a traditional bakery, small farmers market with gorgeous home grown produce and where our guide Albert made up a Greek breakfast yoghurt pot. A traditional confectionery store where there was some beautiful produce to admire, a rustic Taverna for lunch and delicious ice cream to finish. Would recommend as something a little different to do while on holiday if you like a little activity and trying local food. Thank you Albert!
Thank you so much guys. It was a pleasure to showing you around the island.
My husband and I had a great time biking around Argostoli with Alberts guidance. He was a wonderful host and introduced us to many wonderful local business owners where we were able to have authentic experiences. Definitely worth the time and money.
Very nice having you guys here in Argostoli! Hope to see you again.
We had a great day with Albert. He took us to nice places and had many nice stories about the island and about his own experiences. We really enjoyed it and had a delicious meal. Thanks for the nice day Albert!
What an incredible experience and way to visit and learn about Argostoli. Our guide (Albert) was friendly, funny and very informative - we stopped at many places to hear history, he always found a spot in the shade and allowed time for pictures along the way. Be ready to eat and enjoy a leisurely ride! We went to a local bakery and met the family who baked and ran the shop, then to the candy store to taste nougat and traditional Greek treats, then to the local market where we shared fresh tomatoes and cucumbers that were AMAZING. from there we stopped at a local tavern for some local wine and an incredible lunch including lamb on a bed of orzo, lemon chicken, green beans, artichokes and a few other delicious items. From there we rode to beautiful park and garden next to the square and enjoyed some gelato from a local store. Our last stop was to the Rivers edge to see if we’d luck out and see any turtles - and we did! We rode back to the Kings Hotel (where the bike tour was located) and took some photos and said our goodbyes. It was such a lovely tour and day.
I had pleasure of being the first on their new Argostoli Taste & Walk tour, enjoyable 4-5 km walk with stops to sample bougatsa, a demonstration of how to make mandalas, sampled cucumber and fresh oranges at the farmers market, local lunch and even some gelato! Highly recommend this tour, either walking or biking version.
