Itinerario

My husband and I have been to many winery and vineyard tours over the years and none have come anywhere near this experience. It is the perfect itinerary: 35 minutes outside of city, two beautiful, family run farms with unbelievable architecture from hundreds of years ago. Our lunch stop was a hidden gem. Pretty, little restaurant was delicious and charming with quirky artwork everywhere. Our driver and guide was the marvelous Matteo! Beyond competent and informative, he was funny, and charming. I would highlyrecomend this tour.
This wine tour was absolutely phenomenal! From the breathtaking vineyards to the expertly guided tastings, every detail was perfectly curated. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun and engaging. We sampled exceptional wines and learned so much about the winemaking process. This tour is a must for anyone visiting the region — I would do it again in a heartbeat!
Wow!! What a perfect day! We loved learning about the region, the grapes, the wineries. Matteo was so fantastic—he was extremely knowledgeable, he was funny and personable. We cannot imagine a better experience. The wine was delicious, and the meal at the countryside was probably one of if not the best meal we had on our trip to Italy. Highly recommend.
Andrea was fantastic! Very knowledgable and answered all of our questions, no matter how new-to-wine they were. He was very personable. We had a great time at the two wineries and the lunch location. We liked that the drive wasn’t too far outside of Florence, but still was that Tuscan country experience. The locations were not your typical wine tour trip - so it felt way more personal since we went to local wineries instead of the big ones that everyone else goes to. At each location, we were greated by multiple owners and staff who were all wonderful. Andrea chimed in with amazing facts along their guide through each property. He walked us through each wine and we felt lucky to learn from him. We could not have asked for a better day. And we cannot forget to mention that lunch and the wine were delicious! Thank you!
The Castles are really manor homes which have been converted to wineries or may have always been wineries. Not really castles in my opinion. They were interesting but one of my friends was really interested in the castle aspect and not so much the wine.
Great trip, weather was perfect. My wife and I are on our honeymoon and it was just Matteo and ourselves - had a lovely time, beautiful weather, great wine, great pictures. Highly recommend.
We had Matteo as our driver/tour guide, and he was absolutely amazing! We went to two wineries and out for lunch in between! Matteo was so genuine, we felt immediately comfortable and at home with him! He was extremely knowledgeable of his country and of the wine culture, not only was he telling us about his country he also was interested in learning about ours and us personally. Our lunch was filled with story telling, and it felt as though we had made a life long friend! We highly recommend this tour and hope that you’re lucky enough to have Matteo as your guide! Thank you Matteo, for making this tour a special memory to our honeymoon! We will be back! :)
We started this day with Andrea as our tour guide and he quickly turned into our friend! With some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve seen and some extraordinary food, I’ve had to write a review to tell everyone how incredibly worth it this tour was! Andrea’s knowledge, authenticity and gentleness made it even more magical than it already was! We highly recommend him as not only a tour guide but also as a good friend!
Amazing host who was very knowledgeable and we learnt a lot more about wine! The wineries were spectacular and the visit was comprehensive as we were shown right through the production process and got to taste all the wines. Would highly recommended as a wonderful day trip and experience.
Five stars! Highly recommend. We had a lovely day on the Castle and Chianti Tour. Our tour guide, Julia, was fantastic- she was knowledgeable, friendly and made the entire experience so fun. We enjoyed two tastings at two beautiful vineyards, along with a delicious lunch in a small Italian village. By far our favorite experience we had while exploring Italy.
