Lo único que no nos gusta es cuando los huéspedes nos preguntan cuánto tiempo pueden quedarse aquí porque la respuesta es todo el tiempo que necesites. No nos gusta apurar a alguien porque viniste de vacaciones para disfrutar y no pensar en el tiempo.

Itinerario
La excursión comienza desde su hotel, aeropuerto o punto de encuentro. Después de un viaje de 1 hora, llegará a la pequeña ciudad medieval de Ston, donde tendrá un agradable paseo por las murallas de la ciudad de Ston. Después de esta caminata de unos 30 minutos, nos dirigiremos hacia las salinas. Conocerás el proceso tecnológico de obtención de la sal marina y su excelente calidad. Cuando finalice el recorrido, nos dirigiremos al castillo de Klis antes de Split alrededor de 1h 30m.
Construida en los acantilados de piedra caliza a las afueras de Split, la imponente Fortaleza de Klis (Tvrdava Klis) fue una vez un importante bastión defensivo entre el Mediterráneo y los Balcanes. Albergó la sede de muchos reyes croatas, aunque hoy en día es más conocido como el lugar de rodaje de la ciudad ficticia de Meereen en la serie Game of Thrones. Esta atracción se puede ver en 1h 30min. Después tenemos que conducir 30 minutos hasta el centro de Split.
Después de Klis 30-45min, comienza el recorrido en Split Riva, el paseo marítimo de Split. A través de la Puerta de la Ciudad de Bronce, ingresas al sótano del palacio. Las bodegas abovedadas están intactas y muy bien conservadas después de más de 1700 años. Luego pasas a la parte sacra del palacio, el Peristilo y la Catedral, que una vez fue el mausoleo de Diocleciano. El templo pagano de Júpiter se convirtió en baptisterio en el siglo VII. Caminarás por Cardo, la antigua calle principal del palacio, y admirarás el Golden Gate. Luego puedes almorzar, tomar un café o beber alrededor de las 2h45m. Después de eso, nos encontramos en la zona de lanzamiento y regresamos al hotel alrededor de 2h y 30min. Además, si necesitas algún extra somos flexibles para que tu viaje sea perfecto.

Lo recogeremos frente a su hotel 15 minutos antes de que comience el recorrido. Si necesitamos cambiar el lugar de recogida, le informaremos un día antes del recorrido.

Mateo is so gracious and friendly. His car is very comfortable and he is a very safe and efficient driver. We made excellent time on the round trip and he was very flexible in timing so we could utilize our time how we wanted to. He’s given us terrific local tips for restaurants and local sights. If you’re doing a day trip to Split (or other activity) I highly recommend Mateo. He’s great with kids, and totally easy going.

Mateo was an excellent tour guide! He put together 2 personalized tours for our group. The first was to Perast and Kotor Montenegro from Dubrovnik. The second was from Dubrovnik to Split, going through Mostar and hitting many other great sights along the way. A highlight was the lunches he arranged for us both days! In Mostar we sat over looking the bridge at Terace Legaro. The food was amazing and the view is incredible. He had the best table in the place reserved for us ahead of time. His tours are well thought out and well planned. He even sends pictures at the end of the day. He is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend!

Mateo was simply the best, he not only ensured we get to see so many amazing places, but kept the journey very comfortable, taking us through some of the most scenic paths, and at same time, explaining about the salient aspects of the place. He is well informed and an amazing sense of the entire region (not a single time, saw him using Google maps). We used his service while transiting from Dubrovnik to Split and on the way took us through the Botanical garden, Ston, Blagaj, Mostar, Kravice waterfalls. Would strongly recommend Mateo to anyone looking for a private taxi operator to travel across Croatia!!
