Este recorrido se realiza en el sector A, el principal del parque nacional tijuca, el mejor sector para quienes desean disfrutar del bosque y observar animales salvajes como tucanes, monos, pizotes, perezosos, armadillos, tortugas y una infinidad de aves. . En el recorrido pasamos por 3 cuevas y 3 cascadas, lo cual es perfecto para los días calurosos de verano y también para los días nublados donde las montañas pueden quedar tapadas, en este recorrido los atractivos no se ven afectados por esta influencia. Es una caminata de 6 kilómetros, pero es muy suave porque hay muchas paradas en el camino.

Los viajeros explorarán casi toda el área del parque nacional de la tijuca. Las cuevas y cascadas son nuestro objetivo en este recorrido, pero la vida salvaje como tucanes, monos, perezosos y armadilos siempre aparece en el parque. Es bastante fácil ver monos y tucanes. ¡Lleva tus trajes de achique para refrescarte en las cascadas!

I throughly enjoyed the hike through portions of Parque Nacional da Tijuca. Shortly after making the reservation, a greeting message was received from our guide Bernardo. Upon arriving to the park, we were surrounded by towering trees and lush greenery. Along the way to the view points, waterfalls, and cave, Bernardo shared facts about the park and the ecology/ restoration efforts. Whether you're an experienced hiker or just someone looking for a peaceful outdoor retreat, this hike is a must-do.
Shortly after I made the reservation, our guide contacted me with a confirmative greeting. As soon as we drove to the park, we were surrounded by towering trees, lush greenery, and the sounds of nature! Our guide Bernardo shared information about the area as soon as we arrived. He was very knowledgeable & shared facts about the history of the forest and the ecology. He spotted lizards, snakes, spiders, frogs, birds, and plants. He also took great pictures! Whether you're an experienced hiker or just someone looking for a peaceful outdoor retreat, this hike is a must-do.

Bernardo is an amazing guide , he took me and my family on great hikes that lead to beautiful waterfalls. However, the most amazing experience was the soccer, where he took us to see a Botafogo game (it’s the biggest club in the country), their fans are so awesome and passionate, big and modern stadium, etc. Make sure you visit their store and museum at their headquarters in Botafogo.
