The tour was excellent. The girls took us to authentic Vietnamese restaurants and we had the chance to taste Vietnamese dishes that simply aren't available outside of Vietnam (and difficult to find if you don't speak Vietnamese!). We enjoyed eat restaurant. On top of that, we did a bit of sightseeing and were taken to a couple places where local people actually visit. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.
We had the absolute best time with Kim and Vivian! Cannot recommend this experience enough. Riding around on the motorbikes was such a good way to explore the city and we had amazing food along the way. We requested a vegan food tour and each stop was amazing. Vivian and Kim were such good guides, filled the night with lots of great information about Saigon and we had lots of laughs!
We absolutely loved the tour! Lucy, Tracey, Lina and Mia were wonderful guides and enabled us to have a great and unique evening. We felt very safe getting on a motorbike for the first time and the food and sightseeing stops were well chosen. A fantastic vegan food experience, accompanied by very smart and empathetic girls. A must do in Saigon.
"A must-do experience in Ho Chi Minh! My guide, Fidelia, was incredibly knowledgeable, and I learned more about Vietnamese culture and food on this trip than I had in the 10 days prior. The rain only added to the adventure, making it even more memorable. It was wonderful to see Saigon through the eyes of a local
I had a great time with Helen – her positive charisma and enthusiasm made the four hours fly by. She took me from small restaurants to lively food markets to a cozy cafe for dessert. Since I am a vegetarian, I was especially happy about her recommendations. This allowed me to discover a new variety of Vietnamese cuisine. And right at the same time Helen shared exciting insights about Vietnamese food culture. In between, she also showed me the city and took me to a beautiful viewpoint at night – a real highlight. Individually coordinated, informative and with a really good mood – absolutely recommended! Thank you very much!
Xin cháo! My experience was hosted by Kim and she was such a light in this world. Great communication, on time, and extremely hospitable! While on the tour, she would even point out/recommend things that were applicable to Vietnam. 🇻🇳 Though the motorbikes may seem intimidating in Vietnam, Kim was a safe driver and I didn’t feel timid whatsoever. 1000/10 experience! I told Kim the food I wanted to try while on the tour, phó and bánh mí. First stop was Quán Chay Sala. We went there for those two items, but then she recommended Bún riêu. When I tell you that was the BEST soup I’ve ever had…. It might just have topped a bowl of phó and I’m a phó lover from back home. She ordered me a bánh mí, but I didn’t eat it until later. Nonetheless, the sandwich was so delicious and the bread was cloud soft. Second stop was the flower market. Kim is the sweetest and showed me how to open a lotus flower (Nelumbo nucifera, I think). A special moment, and I really loved the exclusivity of the tour being just her & I. While at the market, she told me more about Independence Day since I was in town during the celebration dates. We came across a spot for bánh cam mè. SOOOOO SOFT AND DELICOUS! I have to find them again. I gave my friend one to try after I was done with the tour and she said it reminded her of beignets so you know they were GREAT! Third stop, we ate bánh xéo. Kim is so educated and the facts she shared about the greens was amazing to listen to. She made me a roll with the pancake and veggies, and she wrapped it so graciously. I had bánh xéo while in Hoi An, but this place definitely topped the other. Fourth location, Vegan365 for pumpkin soup and fried spring rolls. Kim gave a great suggestion to wrap the lettuce around the fried spring rolls to soak up all the oil. GAME CHANGER! I don’t think I’ll eat them any other way. Doing so also gave the rolls an extra veggie component. 10/10 Last but not least, we ended the tour with dessert at Thế Giối TÀU HŨ for a sweet tofu soup-type dish. I was a little off put (verbally) by the idea of sweet tofu but I stood corrected. “Don't knock it until you try it.” It was the perfect sweet treat after the savory options. Allow me not to forget to mention, they served iced green tea with every meal and that was perfect to have on the hot, sunny day. Kim was great at ensuring I stayed cool, whether it was using her jacket to cool down the seat because I was wearing shorts, or simply asking how I felt about the sun while we were driving around. She shared so many other suggestions to explore while I’m in Vietnam, too. All in all, the tour was amazing and Kim made it even more special. Honestly, best food I’ve had since I’ve been here (week n a half). If you luck up with Kim as your guide, you won’t be disappointed and will be overjoyed. We laughed and smiled through whole tour, I felt like I made a new friend. Cảm ơn, Kim!!!!!!!!! 🫰🏽
We Did a vegan food tour with my partner. We both had our own lovely quide and they took us around Saigon safely and we had the best time! Food was incredible and so much of it. I would recommend this to every body!
We came with a group of 3 friends. Great experience with everything from the food to the difference places. The 3 girls are amazing. Amy (Khoa My), Lucie (Chinh) and Hannah (Hieu) are super friendly, fun and knowledgeable. We had lots fun together. Definitely recommended to everyone who is either non-familiar or familiar with Ho Chi Minh city because you'll never know enough.
VEGAN STREET FOOD TOUR: Girls on Scooters take you through the streets. Riding on the back of the scooters was super fun, and the Guides were friendly and entertaining, and spoke good english. We had two wonderful guides, Quinn & Helen, and two scooters, one for me and one for my wife. The young women who were guides knew how to ride well, and navigate the traffic with ease so the experience was stress-free for us. This was the best activity/tour we did in Saigon.
family of 6 took the vegan tour with 6 sweet girls,- very good experience! We took the vegan tour. Just fun to drive around the city at night ... they were very good guides....
