Itinerario

Such a fantastic day with Natalia as the guide on our food and walking tour around Palermo. We started with coffee and pastries, walked to the botanical gardens, several other gardens, stopped at multiple places for food. Natalia is incredibly knowledgable and clearly has a lot of passion for her job and for learning. She is very warm and friendly and taught us lots of interesting facts about Argentina and Buenos Aires. Tasty steak for lunch, the cheese and onion empanada for the next meal was the best, the provaleta was delish, and the gelato stop at the end was excellent!
Thank you so much, Amanda! Natalia is a fantastic guide and it's always great to hear that her knowledge and warmth came through the way they did. The cheese and onion empanada at Doña Tota tends to be a sleeper hit — glad it made the list. Hope you're enjoying the rest of your time in Buenos Aires, and thanks again for taking the time to write this up.
Had really great experience with Frank on our walking food tour of Palermo Viejo. He was very informative on the history made good local food choices and bar recommendations for beers and wines. He added a lot of personal touches to the tour also which made the tour much more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Really glad the history, the food stops, and the bar recommendations all landed well. The personal touches are my favorite part of running these tours, so it means a lot to hear that came through. Hope to see you back in Palermo sometime.
Great walking trip around a couple of really nice districts of Buenos Aires. Our guide (Natalia) was very knowledgeable and showed us sites (+ food and drink tastings) that were a pleasant change from the norm. We enjoyed her company and lively demeanour and we moved at a nice pace throughout our time with her. One trip to thoroughly recommend.
Dear David, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. Reading your description of the afternoon as "hanging out with a knowledgeable friend" is the highest compliment we can receive. At Asado Adventure, we strive to move beyond the typical tourist script. We want our guests to feel the pulse of Buenos Aires, whether that’s through the perfect cut of grass-fed beef or the stories hidden in our neighborhood streets. I am thrilled to hear that the steak and wine hit the mark for you, as we take great pride in sourcing only the best local products for our guests. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope these flavors stay with you long after you’ve returned home. Should your travels bring you back to our corner of the world, there will always be a spot at the table (and a glass of Malbec) waiting for you. Warmly, Frank Almeida
I recommend Natalia and this tour. A great way to discover Palermo hidden gems in great company of our knowledge guide Natalia. She spoke perfect English and had the passion to present her city with interesting stories and even more interesting artists we met. Food was so tasty and places were for locals and foreigners were welcome, too.
Dear Renata, Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. I’m really glad to hear that the tour gave you a deeper sense of Palermo and that you enjoyed discovering the neighborhood through its food, street art, and stories. Natalia will be especially happy to read your words. She is a wonderful guide, and her ability to connect history, art, and the present-day life of the city is a big part of what makes these experiences feel personal rather than scripted. I’m also delighted that meeting the artists and visiting places where locals feel at home stood out for you. Thank you again for joining us and for your recommendation. I hope Buenos Aires left you with great memories, and that our paths cross again on a future visit. Warm regards, Frank Almeida Owner, AsadoAdventure
Natalia was an excellent guide. She adjusted the tour to our pace and included areas and places she knew in which we would be interested. All the food included on the tour was authentic and of brilliant quality
Thank you very much for your kind review and for taking the time to share your experience. I am especially glad to hear your feedback about Natalia. She is a fantastic guide, and her ability to adapt each tour to the guests’ interests and pace is a big part of what makes these experiences feel personal rather than scripted. It is also great to know that the food and the overall quality stood out to you. Showcasing authentic flavors and independent local spots is at the core of what we try to do on our Palermo Viejo food tours. Thank you again for the recommendation, and I hope we have the chance to host you again on a future visit to Buenos Aires. Best regards,
A very enjoyable full day with Natalia. It was a great mix of trying local food, walking, history & art. We got to try and learn all about asado and the history of Palermo. It was very hot today (38c), but Natalia found us areas through the day in the shade.
Thank you for taking the time to share this, Jennifer. I am very glad you enjoyed the full day with Natalia and that the mix of local food, walking, history, and street art came together the way we hope it does. Palermo has many layers, and it is great to hear that the asado context and neighborhood history added meaning to the experience. Late December heat can be intense in Buenos Aires, and I appreciate you noting how thoughtfully Natalia adapted the route, using shade and pacing to keep the day comfortable. That kind of situational awareness is exactly what we aim for on our longer tours. Thank you again for joining us and for your kind words. It was a pleasure hosting you in Palermo.
Fantastic tour filled with insights and history, street art, and delicious food, especially the empanadas and ice cream. Natalie is an amazing guide!
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m really happy to hear that you enjoyed the mix of history, street art, and food, and that the empanadas and ice cream stood out. Natalia is a fantastic guide, and I’ll be sure to pass along your kind words. Our goal is always to go beyond just eating well and to give guests real context for the neighborhood and the city, so it’s great to know that came through during your day in Palermo Viejo.
This was a walking tour of the Palermo Viejo area of Buenos Aires. Our guide, Frank, was great. He lives in the area and is very knowledgeable of the neighborhood history and great little spots to stop to taste the local food and drink. Since Frank has been living in the area, he knows the artists that have been painting the walls along the streets and will give you interesting background information on the artist and what the street art means. We really enjoyed our day and learned a great deal. It was a fun, easy walk around a local neighborhood. We started at a local bakery for a special type of pastry (this bakery makes the best --sorry forgot the name). It was delicious. Then toured the botanical gardens. From their we stopped at the Garibaldi Monument and Frank had a Garibaldi cocktail for us - very tasty. We walked and talked and ate some more -- BBQ lunch at a local, small grill, some very delicious empanadas --tried a few different types-- and tasted some very tasty craft beers. Almost felt like a local. After we got back to our hotel, Frank was kind enough to send us photos of our day. Highly recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for joining me on the Food and Neighborhood Tour and for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. I’m thrilled that you enjoyed exploring Palermo Viejo and that the mix of local flavors, history, and street art brought the neighborhood to life. I had a great time showing you some of my favorite hidden corners—from that restaurant with the irresistible medialunas to the Garibaldi monument (and the cocktail inspired by the hero!). It always makes me happy when guests leave feeling a little like locals themselves. I hope the photos help you relive the memories, and that Buenos Aires continues to surprise and delight you wherever your travels take you next. Thanks again for recommending the tour—your words mean a lot to our small, passionate team.
I loved how Frank shared his knowledge and experience when walking through the beautiful areas of Buenos Aires. He was kind and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with him.
Dear Vicki, Thank you so much for taking the tour with me. I enjoyed spending the day with you and showing off my neighborhood. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it and I am very grateful that you also took the time to leave your impressions here for others.
It was an interessant visit of the quarter Palermo (Buenos Aires) with a nice Guide, Christina. She explained us the graffitis on the walls and we tasted some specialities like « empanada ». We could discuss about the policy and the economy in south America. We can recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for choosing us to guide you through our neighborhood. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your day with Chistina and that you shared your experience with everyone here. Thank you for the kind words. I will make sure to share them with Christina!
