If you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City and want an experience that is genuine, personal, and perfectly tailored to YOU — book Ryan (TuanNgoc) immediately. He is hands-down the most attentive, warm, and thoughtful tour guide we have ever had anywhere in the world. From the very beginning, Ryan took the time to truly understand what we wanted out of our visit — not just the typical tourist checklist, but the real soul of the city. He crafted our entire experience around our interests, our pace, and our curiosity. Whether it was navigating the best street food spots, soaking in the city’s vibrant energy, or making us feel safe and comfortable every step of the way — Ryan delivered on all fronts without us even having to ask twice. What sets Ryan apart is how he created a space where we felt completely seen, respected, and celebrated. His tour naturally embraces diversity and inclusion, and that authenticity makes the experience so much richer. He is openly welcoming of the all community, and it shows in every interaction — there is zero judgment, only warmth, laughter, and genuine connection. He is genuinely one of the most fun, energetic, and kind souls you will ever meet. His passion for his city is infectious, and his personality makes every moment memorable. We didn’t want the tour to end, and honestly, we didn’t want to say goodbye to him either! Ryan — thank you for making Ho Chi Minh City come alive for us. We will absolutely be back, and you’ll be our first call. ❤️❤️❤️
Levi made great conversation as we tried a variety of local food and drink. Bring ample cash so you’re able to pay for everything!
Just minutes after landing in Ho Chi Minh, we started looking for some evening plans and local foods. Finding Kevin for this tour, with almost no notice, was just the welcome to this wonderful city we were looking for. In no time, we had language lessons, history lessons, more food than we could possibly eat, learned how to cross the road, buy goods in the local markets and where to go for a fun night out (maybe after a nap 😂) Kevin is a star. All the vendors knew him, and visiting them with him helped us also feel like locals, as we learned about the restauranteurs’ families and how they run their businesses alongside the history of the dishes we ate.
This has to be one of the most fun tours we’ve done. Levi was an amazing guide, charming, funny and knowledgeable. He was flexible and adapted the tour to our wish to see some of local LGBTQ life, as well as fabulous street food. Each food stop was delicious and we were quickly stuffed full. Cheesy fried pancakes were a particular favourite. The lottery and bar he took us to later were way outside the usual tourist zones and gave a real insight into local LGBTQ culture. We’ve not laughed so much in ages. Highly recommend.
Come prepared to eat! My guide Da was great, and riding the motorbike was easy and felt perfectly safe. But the best part.of course was the food! From noodles to tofu to ice cream to snails, he showed me lots of places and was very willing to customize the tour or change the food or even jist answers questio s if we passed something that looked interesting to me.
I had an amazing time with this up close and personal tour with guide T. Shared a lot about the culture and customs. Got to see some amazing sights and riding on the scooter was a thrill. Food was everything I had hoped it would be. Felt like a local and would do it again and again!
We took a morning tour with two delightful guys, Hung and Van. They were both great English speakers and very knowledgeable about the sights we visited, many away from popular tourist locations. It was thrilling being driven around Saigon on their motorbikes.
