Excursión de café: a tan solo 45 minutos de la ciudad de Medellín se encuentra San Sebastián de Palmitas, más conocido como Palmitas, uno de los 5 corregimientos (divisiones de la zona rural) del municipio de Medellín. Ubicado al noroeste de la ciudad. Fronteriza al norte con el municipio de San Jerónimo, al este con el municipio de Bello y el Corregimiento de San Cristóbal, en el sur con el Corregimiento de San Antonio de Prado y el municipio de Heliconia y al oeste con el municipio de Ebéjico. El Corregimiento está compuesto de 8 veredas y paisaje urbano.

Recogida en hoteles o apartamentos en Medellín, siempre y cuando sea dentro de la ruta de recogida, ya que no todas las zonas están incluidas (consulta antes de reservar si tu alojamiento está incluido). No recogemos en el centro, La Candelaria, Envigado, Sabaneta, Itaguí, Bello, Caldas.

Samuel was an excellent tour guide through the coffee farm and gave us a wonderful history of coffee and all there is know about selecting a good one. We wrapped up the day with horseback riding tour with Don Jorge. These people work so hard to show us a great time in Colombia!

A great day. A van picked us up at the hotel in a timely manner. We were greeted warmly at the plantation by Jorge. We requested a tour guide who spoke English and ended up with Daniela. She spoke English well, and she was fun and friendly. We learned about, the history of coffee, good and bad coffee and the life of the muleras who work on the plantations. We had a wonderful and plentiful lunch, tasted different kinds of coffee, and took a nice tour on horseback. Amazing views all day. Parts of the trails were very steep to climb and on horseback not for the faint of heart, but the tour guides were very helpful and took good care of everybody. All in all a very good day!

We had such a wonderful experience on this coffee tour! Everything was well organized, and it was a great way to learn how coffee is grown, processed, and the best methods for brewing it. A special shout-out to our driver, Guillermo. He was incredibly kind, trustworthy, and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire trip. The coffee tour was great and highly educational. We enjoyed the horse back riding, but as experienced riders we were nervous riding along the main road with cars just feet from the horses.

Very amazing. Pickup was easy, met some cool travelers, learned a lot about coffee from our very kind and funny tour guide Samuel. The coffee, food, and desserts were awesome, and riding the horse was pretty sweet (and terrifying). Highly recommend!

This was very organized and the food for lunch was super filling, the horse ride was very very safe and they have both English and Spanish sections to explain how a coffee bean becomes coffee. If I could change one thing it would be to try more coffee and different kinds and that they offered cream and sugar/honey. There are many free gifts for you and all of the people are extremely patient throughout :)

Samuel was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable. It was the first time for me and my brother doing this tour. And even tho we are not big coffee drinker it was really good to learn the difference between good coffee and the bad one. Horseback riding was also alot of fun and definitely recommended this tour.
