Descripción
La Reserva Nacional Tambopata está situada en la selva amazónica y abarca selvas tropicales de tierras bajas, hábitats ribereños, lagos en forma de meandro y collpas de arcilla. Es parte de la Ecorregión Madre de Dios más grande, conocida por su excepcional riqueza biológica. La reserva también se destaca por su alta concentración de guacamayos y loros, que se reúnen en grandes cantidades en las collpas para consumir la arcilla rica en minerales que ayuda a neutralizar las toxinas en su dieta. La vida silvestre en la Reserva Nacional Tambopata es abundante e incluye especies icónicas como jaguares, nutrias gigantes de río, tapires, osos hormigueros gigantes, capibaras y varias especies de monos. La reserva también alberga varios reptiles, anfibios y especies de peces, así como una gran cantidad de insectos y otros invertebrados.

We did the Tambopata 4 days tour with a Peru tour operator and stayed at Amazon Garden Lodge near Tambopata. The experience was truly memorable, and the dishes were delicious and well worth it.
I found the accommodations at the Tambopata lodges to be a very good experience. The best part of Amazon Garden Lodge is their proximity to town, which makes everything much easier compared to other Peru tour operators. The guides are very enthusiastic and know the area perfectly. The food was delicious, all made with local ingredients and very well prepared. The transfers ran smoothly, everything was very organized and safe. Three days is enough to fully enjoy the Tambopata experience. I highly recommend it!
I had a really lovely stay at the Tambopata Lodge with Peru Amazon Garden Lodge, right in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon rainforest. From the moment we arrived, the local team made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the rainforest.
Recently did the 4 day Tambopata tour with Peru Amazon garden Lodge and it was a fantastic experience! The lodge was comfortable and immersed in nature, offering a true jungle experience. The wildlife sightings were incredible, and our guides were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. A érfect blend of adventure and relaxation.
