Itinerario
Comenzamos nuestro viaje a Mongolia desde la oficina de Enza Tours LLC. Antes de comenzar, nuestro guía turístico y el conductor local los presentarán. Conduciremos al parque nacional Khustai, que es un lugar para animales salvajes. Lo más interesante es ver el caballo salvaje "Takhi", que fue descubierto por el Doctor Prezwalski en 1933. Takhi estaba casi extinto pero la gente rehabilitó a esta criatura en la vida salvaje. Descubriremos en esta área animales como lobos, marmotas, ovejas salvajes y ciervos. Nuestro objetivo será descubrir una familia de caballos salvajes, incluidos sus bebés. Después de eso, haremos algunas caminatas a través de la naturaleza intacta, una especie de flora y le sugerimos que traiga su cámara para tomar fotos de paisajes agradables. Al final, regresaremos a la ciudad de Ulán Bator. En la ciudad, podrán salir con su guía para ver la ciudad y cenar juntos en Mongolia.

One day at Khustai is probably not enough as half the time is spend driving from/to UB; go for 2 days if you have the time. But as a taster, this is a good tour. The park is beautiful and I had a good view of wild horses and an eagle. There is also an hour-long horse ride so you can channel your inner nomad. My guide Ichko (Coco) and driver Ganaa were both very good.

This 1 day tour from Ulaan Baatar is a nice introduction to this vast national park. The guide was great at finding the horses - which during our tour where high up in the hills and could only be seen with binoculars (provided by the tour guide). We did a short walk, but primarily drove to find the horses. We also saw ground squirrels, marmots, and a few hawks. We walked on sand dunes. The park is huge and for nature lovers, it would make an interesting 3-4 day trip. There are ghers at the park entrance and one can stay there overnight. The lunch was at the park entrance and very tasty. A horseback ride was supposed to be included in the tour, but since we booked the tour only the night before, we did not have time to fit it into the schedule. Actually spending more time in the park was more interesting.
