Si estas buscando una emocionante excursión de un día en Arequipa que lo lleve fuera de lo común a través de hermosos paisajes andinos explora el Cañón del Colca, uno de los mas profundos del mundo y aprecia el majestuoso vuelo del cóndor andino, además disfruta de hermosos paisajes y diversidad de flora y fauna como la llama, alpaca, vicuña y otros en su hábitat natural. Refréscate en sus pozas termales, degusta de la gastronomía del Valle del Colca a base de productos altoandinos.

Itinerario
Iniciamos la excursión a las 3:00 am, Nos dirigimos hacía Patapampa, donde realizaremos una parada en el impresionante Mirador de los Volcanes, la parte más alta de nuestro recorrido a 4900 msnm, desde este punto se obtienen estupendas vistas de las cadenas montañosas que rodean Arequipa y el Valle del Colca.
Nos dirigimos hasta Chivay, ubicado a 3630 msnm; aquí disfrutaremos del desayuno, para luego emprender un recorrido donde apreciaremos maravillosos paisajes, terrazas pre-incas, como también la flora y fauna nativa.
Visita el Pueblo de Yanque, pueblo tradicional, donde observaremos la danza típica del Valle del Colca, el "Wititi" conocida como la danza del amor, declarado Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial de Humanidad. Además usted podrá visitar el templo de La Santísima Concepción de Yanque, reconstruida en el siglo XVII.
En el camino de retorno, nos detendremos en el mirador de Huayra Punko, en Pinchollo, y luego en el mirador de Antahuilque, a fin de observar algunas maquetas y tumbas colgantes pre-incas. Así mismo observaremos la andenería pre-inca.
Llegaremos a la Cruz del Cóndor para observar la majestuosidad del Cañón del Colca desde un punto estratégico, como también el vuelo del cóndor andino (Vultur gryphus), el ave no marina de mayor envergadura del planeta, nombrada patrimonio cultural y natural de Sudamérica.
La siguiente parada será en Maca, pequeño y pintoresco pueblito de la región, lugar donde degustaremos de la bebida tradicional del Colca Sour.
Visitaremos las aguas termales, donde podrán bañarse y relajarse con sus propiedades termo-medicinales. El ingreso es de S/15.00
Nos detendremos en un restaurante para disfrutar de un almuerzo buffet libre. Todas las opciones de comida son platos tradicionales hechos de productos andinos
Haremos otra parada en los Bofedales de Toccra, donde avistaremos camélidos y aves como los patos y flamencos andinos, así como también aves migratorias.
La última parada será en Patahuasi, para disfrutar de una vista panorámica frente al Misti y Chachani con bosques de piedras y curiosas formaciones de rocas.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Brindamos servicios de recogida a nuestros turistas. Recogemos de hoteles y hostales en el centro de la ciudad de Arequipa. Tenemos nuestro punto de concentración en Plaza de Armas de Arequipa. Si su hotel no está ubicado en el centro le podemos recomendar taxis de confianza. De acuerdo a la ubicación de su alojamiento se le brindará la hora de recojo un día antes del tour. Al retorno del tours el punto de desembarque es en el paradero turístico a 3 cuadras de la plaza de armas de Arequipa

Excellent experience. I traveled with my two daughters and, unfortunately, both experienced altitude sickness. From the first moment, the company provided us with exceptional support, constantly worrying about our well-being. Although for health reasons we could not complete the original tour, they offered us, without any issue, lower-altitude routes so that we could continue enjoying the trip. Thanks to their professionalism, empathy, and flexibility, we ended up having an unforgettable experience.
The tour actually skipped lots of places listed above. Not sure if they changed the itinerary recently. The places for hanging tombs and birds/flamingos were not part of the trip. The tour felt rush, and the tour guide didn’t explain fully in English even he speaks both English and Spanish.

Well organized tour with great communication both before and during tour. Our guide Angie offered detailed explanations of the sites we were to see. At the mirador, we did not see any condors when the fog came in. Thankfully, we moved to another viewpoint and saw them soaring! Our driver Tomas navigated our shuttle van with ease. He safely transported us through winding and narrow roads. A great job well done!

The car did not want to turn the AC on and the van was so hot! We even asked multiple times tour guide to turn it on
The success of this excursion (the Canyon of Colca and the valley ) is due to Edwin Junco , who runs Pablo Tour . and speaks perfect French . We were 4 .... Providing private transport ( excellent driver , very careful ... the road is long and winding ) the guide Willi studied French at the Alliance Française , and speaks it excellent .. he is very competent .. Thanks to him we were able to admire the flight of a Condor! Simple but very decent accommodation in Cabanaconde ... village to discover .. authentic! Catering during the stay good .. splendid hikes by the Canyon! ..for a flat rate of 300 euros per person .. I am happy to recommend this agency . Jean luc

The tour was poor, Maria tried to explain the things and only half of the people could hear because she sat on the middle of the vehicle. They put us on the front with Marcos , the driver (he was nice tought). In the beggining they made us await 40 minutes outside to pick us up (at 3:40 on the morning).
Overall the experience was good but it could have been much better if both the tour guide Maria and the driver Oscar cared more for there passengers. We were very disappointed in the way Maria set time lines and they didn’t correspond to each stop! Also they dropped us off in no-man’s land and told us to walk. We had 14hrs day and then they just dropped us off without warning. Most passengers were chocked at this. It felt that they wanted to go home early to do personal stuff! Chocking!
Full busy day at Colca Canyon - ability to see local towns, spot flying condors over the Canyon, visit hot springs, got some adrenaline-pumping activities. Definitely long and tiring day, but worth every penny.
I loved my experience at Colca Canyon! Of course, the pick-up is very early in the morning (you really have to get up at dawn) and you have to know that the day is almost entirely on the bus, with quite a few trips in the mountains. It’s also a very touristy excursion... but honestly, it’s definitely worth it. Our guide was great: kind, dynamic and very clear in his explanations. We feel that she knows the area perfectly well and likes to share it. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and we were incredibly lucky to see many condors: a magical moment! Lunch was excellent: a buffet of local specialties really hearty and varied. Even the breakfast served in the morning was nice. Be careful though: if you are sensitive to motion sickness or altitude, plan something, as the day is 100% by bus in the mountains. In short: a very beautiful day, breathtaking views and a top organization. I recommend!
