Un tour a las cuevas históricas gemelas de las cuevas de Elephanta y los asentamientos de tugurios "Dharavi". Elephanta es mundialmente famosa por su ingeniería alucinante y hermosas esculturas, Las cuevas están adornadas con algunas de las tallas de piedra más magníficas que se sabe que fueron hechas por el hombre antiguo. Más tarde explorarás los barrios pobres de Dharavi, donde aprenderás sobre la vida y el trabajo en los barrios pobres de Mumbai.

Después de una cómoda recogida en su hotel de Mumbai será llevado a la "Puerta de la India". Desde allí tomará un ferry de 1 hora a la isla Elephanta
A su llegada a la isla, tomará un tren que resultará ser una forma divertida y peculiar de viajar, luego de eso procederá a las cuevas de Elephanta. Las famosas cuevas de Elephanta, declaradas Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 1987 para preservar la obra de arte. Las cuevas de Elephanta son templos tallados en roca / estatuas del Señor Shiva, Ganesha, Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh que datan del siglo V. La isla Elephanta fue nombrada por los Portugueses, después de que la estatua de un Elefante fuera vista cerca de la zona de aterrizaje de la isla. Elephanta muestra leyendas del Señor Shiva talladas en templos de cuevas de roca. El complejo de cuevas es una colección de santuarios, patios, celdas internas, grandes salones y pórticos dispuestos en la simetría espléndida de la arquitectura tallada en roca india, y lleno de exquisitas esculturas de piedra de dioses y diosas hindúes. También se dice que el complejo del templo es la morada del Señor Shiva. Después de eso, abordará el ferry una vez más para regresar a Mumbai, donde comienza su tour de Dharavi Slum.

Kanheri caves are beautifully carved Buddhist Caves in the midst of the city and Surrounded by vast greenery too. Another part of the tour is world famous Elephanta caves which need no second mention. Simply mind-blowing Hindu caves of Elephanta are an architectural and visual delight too.

Excellent tour of the Kanheri Caves. Our guide was terrific and made all the difference in visiting this amazing site. The Kanheri Caves along with the mindboggling Elephanta caves are a must see in any visit to Mumbai.

After the initial coordination snags were sorted, I had a very positive experience. My guide and driver were able to give me a comprehensive tour despite time constraints (I had a flight to catch). The sites are interesting and beautiful - definitely worth the visit.

The weather on our day made getting back and forth from Elephant Caves a much longer trip than usual. They were great to see and our guide was excellent! Unfortunately we missed the Kanheri caves and market, but did enjoy seeing the park by Kanheri caves and hearing about the city and the people from our guide.

Elephanta caves are a wonder on earth. Impossible to achieve even today by engineers, truly divine. We visited dhibi that and Crawford market which has been there since British times. Amazing work done by discover activites

Elephant caves are a mix of buddhist and jain caves having mind-boggling architecture. It was amazing to visit rustic markets of Mumbai and expertise of local traders

We paid over 170$ for 4 ppl. The price did not cover our hotel pickup even though we stayed in Hilton Mumbai International airport hotel. They charged us 1000Rs for pickup and dropoff from hotel to Gateway. The price did not cover the cost of the boat ride nor the elephant caves entrance fees nor did it cover the guide at the caves. We did not the snacks nor were received by a agent. Our driver for the hotel pickup did not speak English. Not sure where our 170$ went.
Dear Sir, our tour is genuine but your review seems to be totally biased and at the behest of an competitor. You seems to have booked our tour without reading it at all. Hope you can converse in English. Pick up is offered from colaba and south Mumbai hotels, you were putting up in an airport hotel. We managed to provide you comfortable pickup drop at an meager supplement. Then you were taken to elephanta caves, product mentions that entry is on your own . After this you were taken to Crawford market and dhobi ghat which was indeed added as an bonus to your trip. You were in direct touch with me over WhatsApp and never shared anything with me and now writing all the stuff here as if you were left in the lurch. Sometimes it is very hard to understand few customers who simply try to tarnish our image for no reason might be out of a professional rivalry OR at the behest of competitors
