Adéntrate en el mundo de los Brontës en esta excursión de un día para grupos muy pequeños desde York. Greg, su guía amable y entusiasta, le llevará a través de la hermosa campiña de Yorkshire al país de Brontë. La primera parada es en la ubicación de Thorpe Green Hall, donde Anne fue institutriz, luego después de un breve descanso de confort continuamos hacia Saltaire y los molinos de sal históricos. Greg luego nos lleva a asistir a la casa natal de Brontë (entrada incluida) donde Greg ofrece un recorrido personal y atractivo en la casa familiar donde crecieron los famosos hermanos. Luego viajaremos a Haworth, aquí disfrutaremos de dos horas libres para pasear por las calles empedradas, explorar tiendas con encanto, disfrutar de un café y visitar el Museo Brontë Parsonage. El día concluye con un viaje por Penistone Hill con vistas panorámicas hacia Top Withens. Una breve parada en la ubicación de Thorp Green Hall, donde Anne y Branwell trabajaban para la familia Robinson. Aquí nos detendremos cerca de la Iglesia de la Santísima Trinidad, donde Ana asistía cada domingo y también dibujaba. Un breve descanso / descanso confortable
Aquí tendrá la oportunidad de visitar el sitio del patrimonio mundial de la Unesco del 'pueblo modelo' creado por Titus Salt para crear una comunidad de alta calidad durante la década de 1850. También la oportunidad de visitar las salinas. Esta es una enorme fábrica textil que da una idea de cómo el período industrial estaba cambiando en la época de los Brontes. Ahora una galería de arte que muestra el trabajo de David hockney, tiendas de antigüedades, un restaurante y puntos de venta.
El Bronte Birthplace fue el bullding donde nacieron Charlotte, Emily, Anne y Branwell. La casa es ahora un centro cultural polifacético reabierto oficialmente por la reina Camila en 2025. Greg será su guía mientras visitamos este sitio patrimonial. La entrada está incluida.
Bienvenido a Haworth, en el corazón del país Brontë. Su visita de hoy incluye la entrada al Brontë Parsonage Museum, la antigua casa de Charlotte, Emily y Anne Brontë. Fue dentro de esta modesta casa de piedra donde se escribieron Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights y The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. From the moment we left York, Greg began to tell us the story of the Bronte family. Stopping at various places along the way, including the birth place of Emily, Ann and Charlotte, we arrived at Haworth - a beautiful town with so much Bronte history. Here we visited the Parsonage museum and the many quaint shops along the high street. We had a pub lunch at The Old Sun Inn - great food and not as busy as tge town centre pubs. All together an excellent day out

Great day out tour. Greg (our tour guide) is very knowledgeable about the areas en route to the destinations. The Brontë birthplace is lovely ( and you can actually stay in the original bedrooms). Onwards to Haworth which is atmospheric and will not have changed much since the sisters were in residence. Wonderful place to wander around with individual shops and eateries. (Make sure to visit The Cabinet of Curiosities for amazing candles, soaps & perfumes) All in all a full- on day with lots to see and do. The groups are small, so easy to ask questions. I’ve previously done the Whitby trip with All Tours Great and Small and can highly recommend.

A great day out, Greg our guide made the whole experience very enjoyable with some great stories and interesting facts about the Brontë family. The highlight was Heworth itself, the cobbled streets and the parsonage museum were fantastic, so much history. Loved it.

What an amazing day, Greg took us back in time to experience the life of the Brontë family, visiting their birth place, with lots of interesting stories about the sisters and their journey to fame. Haworth has stood still in time with all the original landmarks still standing. The parsonage museum was fabulous and Greg covered the cost for the entry fee. The curiosity shop sells lovely scented candles soaps etc.., a really wonderful experience for any Brontë enthusiasts. Highly recommend
