We were keen to do a Segway ride on our trip and Verona presented the best opportunity. It was not cheap as they have a minimum of 4 needed (so we paid for 2 additional spots) but was worth it. Good route planned around Verona to see everything and also avoid the most crowded spots. Our guide was excellent. Took a while to cotton on to his sense of humour but we were in stitches. Great info about what we were seeing too. Also some photos taken which were sent to us after. Thanks!
We had a fabulous experience today ‘segwaying’ around Verona. It was a well organised trip with safe equipment and two guides, Leo who led the trip without any hitches and Michelangelo, whose knowledge of the town was fantastic and his English, really easy to understand. We felt the segways gave us a chance to see so much more than a walking tour or bus and was definitely more fun! I would definitely recommend this trip.
Avoid this company as they cancelled our tour that we booked months ago, the same day as payment was taken ( 2 days before the tour date). They wanted us to pay another €230 to them in cash when we arrived for the tour on top of the €230 already paid otherwise they won't take us. Terrible!
The "Verona Segway GROUP Tour", as highlighted in the offer, takes place when a minimum of 4 people are reached. You had booked the Group Tour for 2 people. You were informed, periodically, FIVE times that no more people had been added to your group. You were given, FIVE times, other options for the tour: - migrate to the "Segway Private Tour" (paying the integration required for this type of special service); - be added to the "waiting list" waiting for other customers to book for your group; - migrate, at the same price paid, to the Private Walking Tour; - cancel the reservation (as you decided to do two days before departure) obtaining a full refund. We have been working, for over twenty years, to try to ensure that customers can always have, when they cannot take the Segway Tour, a replacement service that they like. And you appreciated the assistance we offered you so much that, every time we informed you about the status of your request, you always asked to wait on the waiting list (even though you had the option, right from the start, to cancel the tour at no cost)! Your review is illogical! Even though you chose to wait on the waiting list, since there were no other reservations for your group, besides yours, you give a negative rating, even though you received the maximum assistance and freely chose to wait for other customers to join. Furthermore, you only cite as negative one of the replacement options that were offered to you. Illogical and ridiculous! Since ridiculous negative reviews, however, create enormous damage to the image of our work, our company policy requires us to inform our legal department who will protect our rights. You did not take the tour, you enjoyed our assistance, free of charge, you freely made choices (and we gave you alternatives, we did not force you to choose something illegal) and you feel entitled to repay us with an unjustified negative review! You may have been disappointed for not having taken the Segway GROUP Tour, but it is unfair to vent about your frustration with unjustified negative reviews since we always offered you such commitment and professionalism! I invite you to delete the nastiness that you wrote, perhaps, without thinking enough. This is to close the matter elegantly!
It was a great experience with the family. Even though the tour was in italian, we were able to go all over Verona and see it from the different angles. Great experience
the guide (stefano) knew a lot about the city and was very good at telling us about it while also throwing in some funny jokes to keep it more light-hearted. We also had a second guide with us (alberto) that took pictures of us while driving around, which was great as it can be pretty difficult to take pictures on a segway. the segway is great because you get to go farther around. it was a really hot day and the segway also gave a little breeze when driving around. also it's very fun to do. all in all a very informative and interesting day:D
Great experience! Our ages ranged from 17 to 76. Very knowledgeable of Verona. Would recommend to take on the first day then you have time to revisit the places you want.
This was a fantastic tour. We saw some fascinating places that we would not have seen otherwise and our guide was extremely knowledgeable, informative, very charming and most importantly fun.
This tour was so much fun. We had a family of 5 on the Segway’s. 16 years old through 52 years old. Everyone loved it. Most of us were first timers and that was no problem. With the short training we were very confident. We had a great time seeing Verona and learning about the history. We have done many tours on this trip and this was one of the best.
We had a great time and saw more of the city on segways than we would have done on a walking tour. The guide was great and we learned a great deal about the city. The only option available to us was a private tour which was amazing at £200 each it was a very expensive trip! Perhaps a bottle of water each as a standard on each trip would be good as it was hot.
Interesting tour of Verona with German speaking tour guide. Very good organization and all sights freaked out. Gladly anytime again and 100% recommendation!
