First of all, the day of the tour, June 4, happened to be the Feast of Corpus Christi. This historical event is celebrated universally. An important holiday in Seville. The meeting place was dead center where the procession with the Saint passed. Streets were packed with people like sardines. Took me an hour to work my way through the crowds to arrive there. It should have taken 5 minutes had a taxi been allowed to get anywhere near that area to drop me off. This caused me, as well as others, undue stress before the tour even started. Surely, the tour company was aware of this annual holiday in advance. They should have changed the meeting place closer to the Alcazar where the procession was not anywhere near at the time of the tour. They also could have blocked certain times the tour was unavailable due to this special holiday. Secondly, as a group we had to keep reminding the guide to speak into the microphone. Could not hear her half the time. To top it all off, most of us did not get to see the Cathedral of Seville that is the other main attraction. Not unless we waited another hour and one-half to access the Cathedral as mass was being held in honor of the Saint. Most of us had other plans, tours, etc. and could not wait. The tour company’s poor solution for this inconvenience, either wait all that time or they would compensate us with a few dollars. One month later and I’m still waiting for compensation. It is the tour company’s business to make sure no holidays/events are being held that prevent their customers from seeing an important element of the tour. My suggestion, find another tour company on Viator or Get your Guide.
The guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, making the entire experience both informative and enjoyable. They shared fascinating insights and historical context throughout the tour while ensuring everyone felt welcome and comfortable. The tour lasted approximately four hours, and every minute was well spent. It was thoughtfully organized, covered a great deal without feeling rushed, and provided excellent value for money. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an informative and memorable tour.
This was a very extensive and thorough tour of the Seville Cathedral and Alcazar. Manuela, our guide, was very knowledgeable and did a great job telling the stories of both locations. We learned a lot which made seeing these two stunning sites that much more meaningful and memorable. The only downside was that there were 30 people on the tour, which was a lot to navigate and herd. A smaller group of 20 or less would have been a bit more manageable. But overall, Manuela did a great job and I would definitely recommend this tour to make these two awe-inspiring places come alive.
This experience gives an in depth insight into each building you visit. Our guide Albars knowledge is excellent. Make sure you have a drink as it’s long with no break
Excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge, well done!👏🏼! Tours are way too long. Too expensive, tourists shouldn't exaggerate too much…👎🏻
We had a great time on this tour. Our guide was Ivan and he was outstanding. Our tour group had ~20 people and he kept everyone engaged. We spent the perfect amount of time at each attraction so I never felt like we were just wasting time. I would request him by name if we ever do additional tours in Seville.
Karlos was so professional and very knowledgeable ask for him directly
Our tour guide merce was awesome! She was so knowledgeable and passionate about the sites and the city itself. She kept us at an excellent pace with time in the middle for an ice cream :) She really made this tour special for everyone.
