Tour: Alberobello, Ostuni, Locorotondo: guía local y almuerzo

We had an amazing day trip to Alberobello, Ostuni, and Locorotondo! We were a family of three and were picked up near our hotel in Lecce. Francesco was our driver for the day, and with only two other couples on the tour, it almost felt like a private experience. Our first stop was Alberobello, and it was absolutely stunning. Seeing the famous Trulli houses in person was even better than the postcards and photos online—they truly lived up to our expectations. I would highly recommend visiting! After exploring Alberobello, we enjoyed brunch at a local restaurant away from the tourist hotspots. We had a delicious platter of cured meats and local cheeses, including burrata and mozzarella, and each of us had a drink included. The Aperol Spritz was excellent! The brunch was fantastic value for money, and the quality of the food was outstanding. We then continued on to Locorotondo and Ostuni, both of which were beautiful towns to explore. Although all three destinations were lovely, Alberobello was definitely my favourite. A special thank you to Lorenzo, our guide in Alberobello. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and more than happy to answer all of our questions, making the visit even more enjoyable. Another special thank you to Francesco, our driver for the day. He was friendly, professional, and shared lots of interesting information about the places we visited, which really enhanced the experience. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone staying in Lecce or Brindisi, especially if you don't have a car. It takes away all the stress of planning transport, navigating unfamiliar roads, and finding parking, allowing you to simply relax and enjoy these beautiful towns.

There is a certain amount of walking, including a number if steps. The limestone can be a little slippery in places, so those who find walking a little difficult may find the tour too much, or May just need a companion whose arm they can hold.

We had the pleasure of spending a fantastic day with Luca as our driver during our excursion from Lecce, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Luca was extremely friendly, professional, and welcoming throughout the day. He immediately connected with our group, making everyone feel comfortable and ensuring we enjoyed every moment of the tour. His local knowledge, positive attitude, and willingness to accommodate our needs truly made the day special. The tour was well organised, relaxed, and enjoyable from start to finish. We had a super guide, Melania (?) was so informative. She guides like it’s her first day on the job. So enthusiastic & entertaining. We were lucky to have her as our guide.

We loved this trip and it was excellent value. Luca was a great driver & very helpful. A small group of 8 which was a perfect amount. Milena was a fantastic local guide for Alberobello - so lovely and full of local knowledge. Perfect timings at each location. Highly recommend 😁

Easy walking. A bit uphill. Ample time for shopping. Restrooms easy to locate. Driver good on the road. Trulli well covered. Directions to overlooks could be better.

The places are beautiful, but the conditions that were contracted are not met; the tour was in Spanish, and the driver and the guide do not speak Spanish. So we ended up looking foolish without understanding anything.

We really enjoyed this all day tour. At Ostuni we had a self guided document to follow to look at things in town with information. The next stop was the amazing Alberobello. Here we had a personal guide who was so enthusiastic and a local! She was engaging and explained the Trulli houses and life in this little gem of a town. We did the full lunch and were not disappointed! Last stop was Locorotondo. Any easy walk through town. Then it was back in the van for the return trip to Lecce. A long but satisfying day.

I had the pleasure of going personally to the agency and already from the outside I had information leaflets on the tours available. Upon entering I noticed that everything was not only neat but appeared well organized. I bought my tour and on my return today I can say that the first impression was not denied. The tour exceeded expectations the right times in the stages. Luca our driver made it very possible to enjoy the tour with the proper times in the stages and not only did he just do his job as a driver but was a travel companion that everyone would like to have next to him, he responded to the needs of all participants despite not speaking Italian.
