Salga a una excursión privada de un día al atardecer a Cape Sounion. Nuestro viaje comienza con un maravilloso paseo por Atenas Rivera. Durante este relajante paseo disfrutará de espléndidas vistas del Golfo Sarónico mientras pasa por algunos de los suburbios más hermosos de Atenas, como Glyfada, Vouliagmeni y Varkiza. Al llegar a la Cape Sounion, visitará el siglo V a.C. Templo de Poseidón con su magnífica vista panorámica del mar Egeo (en un día despejado se pueden ver varias islas). El cabo Sounion ha jugado un papel importante en la mitología y la historia griegas, y la primera mención registrada de ella ocurre en la Odisea, como el último desembarco seguro antes de que Poseidón dispersara a la armada griega que regresaba. Como dios del mar, Poseidón era muy importante para los antiguos griegos, y la escala del Templo en Cabo Sounion lo refleja. Después de visitar el Templo, lleno de la belleza, la historia y la cultura de este sitio, se establece para admirar una de las puestas de sol más increíbles que puedas imaginar.
Cuando el sol comienza a tocar lentamente el mar, es el momento perfecto para cenar en una pintoresca taberna cercana al mar. Absorba las vistas de largo alcance sobre el Egeo y tome fotos únicas.

George was an excellent guide. So polite and courteous and full of knowledge. We had some great discussions. The views along the water were spectacular and he took us to a wonderful restaurant for seafood. The Temple of Poseidon didn’t disappoint especially with the sunset view. Would recommend this tour!!

George was a wonderful guide. While it was a group tour, only my daughter and I had signed up. George was so polite, informative, and courteous. Had a wonderful meal at a restaurant he suggested. Beautiful drive along the coast and sunset was spectacular at the Temple of Poseidon.

Wonderful excursion from start to finish, very pleasant cool wise guide George, lovely. Nice excursion Cape Sounion, beautiful sunset at the temple of Poseidon, recommended! The booking through viator got a bit muddled but I was able to work directly with the tour group via chat to confirm the pickup location and time. The driver, Mr George, was very engaging, very nice, and very accommodating as we only had 2 groups in our tour. He also shared a lot of interesting information not only about the historic sights we visited but also about modern Greek culture. It was a great way to spend our evening.

What a fantastic evening we had with George! He was incredibly knowledgeable of all things Athens and Greece and truly enhanced what was already a spectacular evening. The drive up the coast to Poseidon's Temple at sunset were both spectacular and the dinner stop was delicious! The ice cream at Waffle House on the way bak was truly icing on the cake. One final but very important point is that George was incredibly kind, thoughtful and supportive of my father and his mobility issues. If you have only one evening in Athens I highly recommend this tour (and if you are lucky George as your guide) as a must do!

This was truly one of the best tours we have ever taken. The scenery was spectacular. Our driver (Theo) attended to all our needs (coffee, lunch, restrooms) to create a very relaxing and memorable experience. I highly recommend this tour if you want a relaxing day with gorgeous scenery.
