Tour al Santuario Arqueológico de Pachacamac (grupo pequeño)
Descripción
Visitaremos uno de los centros ceremoniales más importantes de la Costa Sur de Lima, el Santuario de Pachacamac, que fue el Centro de Peregrinación más importante del período incaico. Pachacamac fue el Dios de los Terremotos, muchas ofrendas fueron descubiertas en este templo, en el lugar encontraremos evidencias arqueológicas de la época pre-Inca - Inca. Este grupo de edificios se encuentra en medio del desierto y frente al mar. Templos como el Acllahuasi; el Templo Viejo y el Templo del Sol nos permitirán conocer la arquitectura prehispánica.

SAN ISIDRO – MIRAFLORES – BARRANCO Comenzamos nuestra aventura recogiendo a cada viajero en su Hotel o Airbnb a las 9 : 00 AM según nuestros puntos de recogida incluidos (1 día antes confirmaremos la hora de recogida según la ubicación de sus Hoteles). MIRAFLORES – PACHACAMAC Luego viajaremos al sur de Lima en transporte turístico privado (Aprox. 1 Hora)
MUSEO DE SITIO PACHACAMAC Visitaremos el Museo de Sitio dentro del Santuario de Pachacamac, donde se exhiben más de 290 piezas registradas de diversos materiales como cerámica, madera, textiles, entre otros. Una de las piezas emblemáticas del museo es el “Ídolo de Pachacamac”.
CENTRO ARQUEOLÓGICO PACHACAMAC Continuando con nuestro recorrido, visitaremos el Aclawasi “Templo de las Vírgenes del Sol”, sitio sagrado donde vivieron y trabajaron mujeres seleccionadas por sus habilidades manuales, culinarias o belleza física, y que estuvieron al servicio del imperio Inca. El Aclawasi de Pachacamac fue uno de los más grandes e importantes de la costa. Asimismo, apreciaremos las diferentes edificaciones que forman parte de este impresionante lugar, edificaciones de culturas como la Lima, Wari, Ichma y Quechua, que dejaron testimonio de su ingenio y capacidad para sobrevivir en un territorio tan adverso como el desierto costero.
Una vez que visitemos los recintos sagrados en la parte baja del santuario, descenderemos por una rampa elevada que nos llevará al "Templo del Sol", la joya de Pachacamac. Finalmente bordearemos “El Templo del Sol” o “Punchao kancha”, construido en adobes y considerado probablemente el templo más grande de toda la costa, representando un gran esfuerzo organizativo para su construcción.
PACHACAMAC – MIRAFLORES (45 minutos) Finalmente, regresaremos a la parte baja para abordar nuestro vehículo y regresar a sus hoteles o puntos de encuentro.

Yury was a great driver. I felt safe and taken care of the whole ride. Gema was an amazing guide. She shared her knowledge and love for Peru throughout the tour. She brought a Peruvian flag and she took a ton of pictures and shared them at the end of the trip. Gema met us with a smile at the JW Marriott. The drive south was easy and there wasn’t much traffic (we went on a Sunday morning which helped). The museum and temples were really cool to see and learn about. Gema was a tresire trove of insightful information. Truly grateful for this opportunity to learn more about Peruvian history and culture. We spent about 2 hours in total at the museum and temple ruins. I think this was the perfect amount of time. I was able to read all the info (and skip some that I wasn’t as interested in). But if you wanted to see and read everything you had enough time. I never felt rushed the entire day. At the end of the trip we were dropped off safely. I’m so glad I booked this trip. I totally recommend this trip and Yury and Gema!

Jose was an excellent tour guide with good English and good knowledge of the history, explaining clearly the story of the places. I really enjoyed the tour - and Amerigo's driving through crazy Lima's traffic!

Like the tour. Mario, our guide, was engaging and knowledgeable. It was just people on the trip and one of us was Spanish speaking and I only spoke English. Mario was bilingual and balanced answering our questions very nicely
I had a guide, Bryan, who was very knowledgeable, explaining absolutely everything in great detail. He loves history and tells the story of the archaeological site and of Peru with great detail, nuance, and interest. I highly recommend this guide and this tour.

A very nice visit. And we were lucky to go on the day of the winter solaticio, the day of the Inca New Year... We picked up the arrival of the people for the ceremony. It was all cloudy and when the people reached the top, the sun appeared Our guide Patrick very rich in knowledge, sympathy and love for history. Super recommend!
