Visitar Angkor Wat por la mañana es una experiencia mágica. Salir del hotel entre las 4:00 am y las 4:30 am le permite presenciar la belleza del complejo del templo durante las horas tranquilas antes del amanecer. A medida que el sol comienza a salir, proyecta un brillo fascinante sobre los templos antiguos, creando impresionantes siluetas contra el cielo. Después de visitar los templos de Angkor Wat, continuaremos nuestro viaje con una deliciosa comida en un restaurante local, que durará aproximadamente 1 hora. Después de nuestra comida, tendremos la oportunidad de admirar las impresionantes vistas del Srah Srang desde la parte delantera del restaurante. Luego, nos dirigiremos a Ta Prohm, también conocido como el templo de Angelina Jolie, a sólo 5 minutos en coche. Este templo cuenta con magníficos árboles de raíces, algunos de los cuales tienen entre 300 y 400 años. Construido durante el siglo XII por el gran rey Jaya Varman VII en honor a su madre, el templo también alberga la venerada estatua del Buda Sattva, instalada en el templo central.
Después de visitar los templos de Phnom, procederemos a explorar el templo de Bayon. De camino al templo de Bayon, atravesaremos la histórica ciudad de Angkor Thom. La ciudad de Angkor Thom, una de las grandes capitales, fue construida por el ilustre rey Jayavarman VII, siendo particularmente notables sus puertas orientales. Al llegar a las puertas orientales de Angkor Thom, haremos una parada de 15 minutos.

El templo de Bayon es lo suficientemente compacto para permitir cualquier orden de visita, especialmente porque la ausencia de un muro circundante facilita la entrada. We really enjoyed this private tour with our guide, Tann and driver, Nat. Tann was very knowledgeable and taught us about the history the Siem Reap area temples, but we also learned a lot about more recent Cambodian history. He is very experienced and also takes amazing photos! Nat was very professional, nice, and a good safe driver. Definitely recommend this one experience over just getting a tuk tuk, well worth the extra cost.

Our family of four adults and three children enjoyed a private sunrise tour of Angkor Temples from Siem Reap today. So, was our incredible guide who was very informative and provided an excellent overview of the history of the temples and of the region. His knowledge and enthusiasm made the tour even more meaningful. So knew exactly where we should stand to get the best view of the sunrise and we were lucky to see a beautiful one. So was really lovely with the children and made it a memorable experience for them as well. He pointed out special things that would interest them, including an engraving of a small dinosaur on a temple wall. So and our bus driver, Mr Nath were courteous, friendly, attentive and considerate at all times. They provided regular water and cold towels to refresh after each temple. Our family took a private tour to see the sunrise at the Ankgor Temples and it was such an incredible experience. Our driver, Mr Nath took great care on the roads and ensuring we were safe entering and exiting the vehicle at each stop. He also provided us with endless water and cool wash cloths throughout the trip. Our tour guide, So, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly not just to us, but our young children. He provided us with so much history regarding the temples and Cambodia and was very patient with us. He also took fantastic family photos for us in each spot and always showed us the best place to take photos ourselves. So’s communication in the lead up to the tour was excellent via WhatsApp. We couldn’t fault this tour, it was a fantastic way to see the Temples and get a greater understanding of the history of Cambodia. This was my second time to visit Angkor Wat but first time for my husband. So I decided to take a proper tour this time as my husband love history. Sunrise at Angkor Wat was magical!!
