La Plaza Navona es una de las plazas más espectaculares y características de la Roma barroca, construida sobre los restos del Estadio de Domiciano. La forma de la plaza actual reproduce con precisión el perímetro del antiguo estadio que el emperador mandó construir en el año 86 d.C. para competiciones de atletismo y carreras de caballos.
Una joya arquitectónica atemporal enclavada en el corazón de Roma. Lo que distingue al Panteón es su imponente cúpula, que sigue siendo una de las cúpulas de hormigón no reforzado más grandes del mundo. La importancia perdurable del Panteón trasciende su maravilla arquitectónica. Ha sido reutilizado a lo largo de los siglos, transformándose de un templo pagano a una iglesia cristiana, la Basílica de Santa María de los Mártires.

Interesting fast paced walking tour with Claudia who was very knowledgeable and funny too. You get headphones when you arrive at the Touristation Office so you can hear your guide as you walk through piazzas and markets on a tour which includes the Piazza Navona, The Pantheon (outside only and for just a few minutes), the Trevi Fountain (from the street level not the inner section which you have to pay to enter) and the area around the Spanish Steps. If you want to see the inside of the Pantheon or get to the water's edge at the Trevi Fountain, you need to book a specific visit separately.
Got to see a lot of sites however, we did not go inside or explore which was misleading from the description. We covered much ground and our guide was very knowledgeable.

It's very busy and crowed, not enough time at Pantheon or Trevi Fountain. A bit rushed, hard to keep up with guide.

Great information from tour guide but we didn't go INTO the Pantheon! That was primary reason for booking tour.

Had a great experience. Jose was a fantastic guide. He is quite knowledgeable about the history of the sites, art and politics. Jose's blend of all three were quite interesting and at times entertaining. We also had an add-on visit of a basilica. Highly recommended.
