We enjoyed the tour. We learned about its history as well as the paranormal part of it. Our tour guide Jan was very knowledgeable and made the tour enjoyable.
Lovely way to see Old San Juan and the evening temperature is beautiful for walking. Wear comfortable shoes, take lots of pictures!
Thank you for the kind review kimberly
The tour was ok. To me, it was more of a history tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the city, overall it was a ok time.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Sandra. We're glad to hear you found your guide knowledgeable and enjoyed learning about San Juan's rich history. Our Haunted History Tour blends documented historical events with local legends and ghost stories, so the historical aspects can sometimes take center stage. We appreciate your perspective and are happy you had an overall enjoyable experience. Thank you for joining us!
I was at the end of our group and got stuck behind a group of people with a double wide stroller and couldn’t get around them. I got separated from the group. My friend said something to the tour guide - Richard from England - about making sure the group stays tighter. He looked at me and said “I’m sorry you got confused” and then said “I’m sorry your feelings got hurt when you got left behind.” I was by no means confused nor were my feelings hurt. In regards to the tour, there was a lot of ghost / paranormal talk, some history and recommendations for bars and restaurants. There were several areas that were packed and congested with a lot of loud music which made it impossible to hear him.
Thank you for sharing your feedback, Cyndy. We're sorry to hear that parts of the experience did not meet your expectations. Old San Juan can be quite busy at times, and we understand how frustrating it can be to become separated from the group or have difficulty hearing in crowded areas. We also regret that your interaction with the guide left you with a negative impression. Providing a welcoming and respectful experience for all guests is important to us, and we will be addressing your concerns with the guide directly. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Thank you for joining us and for taking the time to share your honest feedback. Your comments help us continue improving the experience for future guests.

Learnt a lot of history!! It’s a lot of walking so come prepared in comfy shoes. The guide was super informative about all kinds of things. I thought it was great for adults but might be a little boring for kids. The evening tour was great for escaping the heat of the daytime sun.
Thank you for the thoughtful review! We’re glad you enjoyed learning more about the history of Old San Juan and appreciated the cooler evening atmosphere. Comfortable shoes are definitely recommended for the walk, and we appreciate your helpful insight for future guests traveling with kids. Thanks again for joining us!
The guide was not prepared. Very little information was relayed especially about the unique kinds of history that you typically get on a ghost tour.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the tour did not meet your expectations. Our goal is to provide a blend of haunted history and storytelling unique to Old San Juan, and we understand that every guest has different expectations for a ghost tour experience. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
We had a great time with Richard, walking around Old San Juan. We communicated with ghosts and got to see old, small, historic, and spooky buildings. A great blend of ghost stories and history.
Thank you for the great review! We’re so glad you enjoyed exploring Old San Juan with Richard and loved the blend of ghost stories and history. It’s awesome to hear the spooky atmosphere and historic locations made the experience memorable. Thanks again for joining us!
all good but a lot of history rather then scary stories. A lot of walking which i didn´t mind but wear comfortable shoes. The guide was very good informed. Eat before the tour afterwards everything is closed. Restaurant close around 9pm in puerto rico
Thank you for the helpful review! We’re glad you enjoyed the tour and our guide’s knowledge. Old San Juan definitely involves plenty of walking, so comfortable shoes are always a great idea. And yes grabbing food before the tour is smart since many nearby restaurants close earlier in the evening. Thanks again for joining us!
Lovely walking tour. It was definitely more of a history tour than a ghost tour but I loved it just as much. Our tour took 2 1/2 hours so it was great exercise and lots of great views with the history behind it. Richard was great, I’d love to know more about him. A Britain who has lived all over and ended up in PR for over 30 years. So cool!
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the mix of history, views, and storytelling throughout Old San Juan. Richard will be thrilled to hear your kind words he truly brings a unique perspective and passion to the tour after so many years in Puerto Rico. Thanks again for joining us!
