09:00 o 14:00 Encuentro en el restaurante Lạc Thiện. Camine a través de una de las antiguas puertas de la Ciudadela de Hué. Los puntos destacados serán la Torre de la Bandera, la Plaza de la Puerta del Mediodía y los Cañones Sagrados: el guía explicará la historia de la antigua capital en 1802 y el ascenso del Emperador Gia Long.
Continuamos hacia el Palacio Thai Hoa (actualmente en proceso de renovación) – donde aprenderá sobre la Guerra de Vietnam y la Ofensiva del Tet de 1968 – el guía explicará el proyecto de restauración que está llevando a cabo el gobierno vietnamita.
El punto culminante de este recorrido a pie es la visita al Templo The Mieu, donde se pueden aprender historias inspiradoras sobre los 13 gobernantes de la dinastía Nguyen.
Admire la obra de arte más importante dentro de la Ciudadela de Hué, las Nueve Urnas Dinásticas, creadas por el emperador Minh Mang en 1836, que simbolizan la soberanía de la dinastía.

Awesome walking tour of the historic and picturesque Imperial Citadel. Our guide, Hoàng, was excellent -- extremely knowledgable, friendly, and immaculate English. He deftly explained the history of the Nguyen dynasty and the Citadel and gave plenty of opportunities for us to explore and take pictures on our own. Highly recommend!

Getting kids to walk through historic sites can be a challenge, but our guide Trinh made our outing such a delight for the whole family with a relaxed and flexible pace and interesting and relatable stories. We had a great time.
