Itinerario
El día de la actividad, nos encontraremos junto a la estatua del Tigre frente a la estación central de tren de Oslo 5 minutos antes de la hora indicada.
Comenzando nuestra aventura, caminaremos hacia la Ópera de Oslo. Hogar de la Ópera Nacional y Ballet Noruego, este moderno edificio le sorprenderá!
Luego, caminaremos hacia Oslo Børs, una bolsa dentro de los países nórdicos que ofrece los únicos mercados regulados de Noruega para el comercio de valores.
Después de eso, caminaremos por la Plaza Christiania donde veremos el Guante de Christian IV, ¿sabes la importancia de este monumento? ¡Lo dejaremos como sorpresa por el día!
Este castillo medieval del siglo XIII fue construido originalmente para proteger y proporcionar una residencia real para la ciudad. A lo largo de los años, se ha utilizado como una base militar, una prisión, y ahora la oficina temporal del Primer Ministro de Noruega!
Pasaremos por el Centro Nobel de la Paz, sede de exposiciones en honor al Premio Nobel de la Paz.
Mientras continuamos nuestro recorrido a pie, pasaremos por edificios más emblemáticos como el Ayuntamiento de Oslo, el Teatro Nacional y el Palacio Real, admirando las elegantes fachadas de cada uno mientras aprendemos sobre su rica historia.
Teatro Nacional
Al acercarnos al final de nuestro tiempo juntos, admiraremos el Aula de la Universidad, ubicada en el antiguo campus de la universidad, antes de llegar a la puerta de Karl Johan, la calle principal de la ciudad de Oslo.
Palacio Real Noruego
A lo largo de esta calle, se encuentra el edificio Storting, que es el Parlamento de Noruega. Finalmente, después de admirar la hermosa arquitectura del Parlamento de Noruega, cerraremos nuestro recorrido a pie de 1,5 horas. ¡Nos vemos!

It was a fun morning tour. Our guide Amy was so friendly and informative, and added a lot of fun side facts. We definitely would recommend this as an introduction to the city
Diana was an absolute gem of a guide. She really knew Oslo and quickly found out our interests and catered to them quite well. She offered deep insights into the attractions we saw and she was really fun. She really wanted us to see the city through her eyes and we really loved the tour and her.
Okay, let me start by saying the walking tour was great. Our guide was on time, informative and shared interesting information about the history of Oslo but also life in general in Norway. The only reason I didn’t give this a 5-star review was that we discovered only some of the people had paid for the tour. When we booked on trip advisor it cost close to US$25 per person, but we discovered it was actually a free walking tour and the majority of people in the group hadn’t paid anything. Now of course we would have given a payment at the end as a tip but the fact that the $$ amount was predetermined for some and not others was quite infuriating.

Similarly to how buying airplane tickets or booking a hotel works online. Some platforms collect payment upfront as a ticket and take a percentage commission, while others charge us a fixed fee per person instead (can be in some instances 7-8$), which allows payments on spot. Some platforms go as far as setting the price themselves, or deciding when to run sales, some allow prepaid only, and all of this is perfectly normal in tourism. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Oslo and could answer any questions we asked him about.
Our tour guide Nickola (sp) was fantastic. We learned a lot and appreciated his insight on the amazing city of Oslo. However, when we arrived and he was holding a sign that said "FREE TOUR" we learned that most people did not pay for the tour. It was explained the trip advisor charges for the free tour and then passes along part of what they charge to the tour guide as a tip. It seems pretty scammy and I would have preferred that our guide get to keep all of the tip. We paid over $22 each for 5 of us and another couple paid $16 each. I would have asked for money back but again Nickola was wonderful and well worth it. I just didn't like paying for something upfront with a 24 hour cancellation policy when others joined at zero cost!

He really is a star - as you also noticed. We are an independent group of guides (friends) that created tour of great quality with care and love for our city. Nikola was a great tour guide with a lot of info about the city However did feel a bit scammed - we booked via viator(trip advisor) who charged us close to £17 per person but we then realised it is a FREE TOUR SERVICE and we were charged money as “tips” for the tour guide. Nikola was nice an explained that the money provided would provide him with a tip and that we didn’t need to tip him, however the tour page says the price paid does not include gratuities. He explained that they have to pay the website to show up on here so only end up getting part of the payment as tips. He had to explain all this as he stood with a sign that said “FREE OSLO WALKING TOUR” and multiple groups that had booked almost missed the tour as we were under the impression it was a paid tour.

Great tour. Guide, Amy, really knew her stuff. Answered questions from the group. Very upbeat. Didn't push, gave time at each stop. Great for the older person. Got lots of good information to fill in rest of trip with some of the places mentioned on tour.
