Guiado por guías locales, este recorrido te lleva desde la icónica Sagrada Familia hasta la elegancia modernista de Passeig de Gràcia, terminando entre las capas romanas antiguas y medievales del Barrio Gotico. Explora desde el exterior la obra maestra inacabada de Gaudí, leyendo sus fachadas como una historia visual. Nos centramos en el simbolismo, las decisiones de diseño y como el templo refleja la identidad de Barcelona a través de las generaciones.
Descubre la ruptura radical de Gaudí con las convenciones a través de su fachada ondulante de piedra y sus balcones de hierro retorcido. Examinamos como la naturaleza, la estructura y el simbolismo se fusionan en un nuevo lenguaje arquitectónico.
Estudia la fachada mas imaginativa de Gaudí, inspirada en la naturaleza y el mito de San Jorge. Desde los balcones con forma de hueso hasta el tejado con forma de dragón, desciframos los símbolos que transformaron Passeig de Gracia.
La casa mas icónica de Puig i Cadafalch combina referencias góticas con ambición burguesa. Su fachada escalonada y sus detalles esculpidos muestran como la élite de Barcelona dio forma al Modernismo.
La obra mas ornamentada de Domenech i Montaner combina escultura, mosaico y vidrieras en un diseño unificado. Cada detalle refleja estatus, artesania y confianza modernista.
Plaza Catalunya se encuentra donde terminaba la ciudad antigua y empezaba el Eixample moderno. Desde aquí seguimos Portal de l'Angel, trazando la linea de una antigua puerta romana convertida en un vibrante corredor urbano.
Antiguo punto de encuentro de artistas e intelectuales, incluidos un joven Picasso, Dalí y Gaudí. Aquí hablamos del espiritu bohemio que ayudo a dar forma a la identidad moderna de Barcelona.
Los últimos fragmentos conservados del acueducto que antiguamente abastecia de agua a la Barcino romana. Un recordatorio de que bajo las calles actuales se esconde una ciudad antigua cuidadosamente diseñada.

En Plaza Nova, el mural de Picasso se enfrenta a las torres defensivas romanas que marcaban la entrada a Barcino, mientras la Catedral se alza justo detras, lista para tu siguiente parada.
En el casco antiguo, la Catedral articula la ciudad medieval. Nos centramos en el contraste entre la iglesia gótica del siglo XIII y su fachada neogótica posterior, de finales del siglo XIX.
Construida en parte con piedras de la muralla romana del siglo I, esta antigua Casa del Arcediano muestra como la Barcelona medieval reutilizó literalmente su pasado antiguo.
Aqui conviven belleza y tragedia, ofreciendo un poderoso recordatorio de la historia de Barcelona. Una plaza silenciosa marcada por cicatrices de la Guerra Civil. Gaudí se dirigia aqui cuando sufrió el accidente que llevó a su muerte.
El Pont del Bisbe parece medieval, pero fue construido en el siglo XX. Este puente neogótico refleja el deseo de Barcelona de dar forma a su pasado. Busca la calavera bajo el arco.
Cuatro columnas conservadas del templo romano dedicado al emperador Augusto, construido en el siglo I a.C. Escondidas dentro de un patio, revelan la escala monumental de la antigua Barcino.
El corazón político de Barcelona desde la epoca romana. Desde el antiguo foro hasta el actual Gobierno catalán y el Ayuntamiento, el poder ha estado aquí durante dos milenios.
La plaza real medieval donde los reyes recibian embajadores y donde Colon se encontró con los Reyes Catolicos en 1493 tras su regreso de las "Indias". La Barcelona feudal se despliega en este escenario de piedra.

Albert was a wonderful guide who gave us the stories behind the many beautiful buildings in Barcelona. He could also easily answer the questions I or the other tourists had, was easy to talk to, and made sure we had enough shade and time for a toilet/drink break. This made the tour enjoyable, even in the hot summer weather (+30°C).

A 3 hour tour might sound long, but it passes by in no time, starts at 11am, so even when it’s finished you still have most if the day to do other things, the guide speaks perfect english, will speak to you and ask about your life in a very welcoming and friendly manor. You don’t get to go inside the main buildings on this tour, but you get full information on all the architecture and architects, that after the tour f you choose to go into the buildings that you’ll have a much better experience. Guide also explained Catalan culture. the tour finishes in the gothic quarter which has the cathedral, great food options and great retail stores. Would definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
