We had the pleasure of having Jamie as our guide today, who was absolutely brilliant from start to end. He has a vast amount of knowledge on the subject matter and I learned so many extra unique quirks I likely wouldn’t have learned anywhere else. The tour was well paced, with several stops along the way to view important historical sites, including the beer hall where Hitler would give his speeches, former Nazi headquarters, Hitler’s office building, and memorials dedicated to victims of the Holocaust. These stops were insightful and provided important context for understanding Hitler’s rise to power and the impact of the Nazi regime. Jamie presented the information in a respectful and engaging way while making the difficult subject both accessible and memorable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about this period of history.
Jamie was experienced and knowledgeable. He handled our extra questions well and was an excellent guide.
Jamie was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and attentive to the group as he led us through the rise of something pretty awful. He understood the history thoroughly, and presented this fascinating tour in a sensitive and honest way. This was an amazing view into the past, and I’m really glad I had a guide to show me the sites that are still here, unmarked and unknown if not for a tour like this. This was an unforgettable experience, and Jamie was a terrific guide.
This was an amazing tour. Very informative, engaging. Our tour guide Jamie was incredible, we were lucky to have a small group, he made small talk with us throughout the tour, while mixing in relevant information. He showed us photos of Hitler, of the Beer House and other photos. Would 100% recommend doing this tour, well worth the time and money
Thank you for the great feedback. I’m very pleased to hear you enjoyed the tour and the more personal experience with a smaller group. Your recommendation is truly appreciated.
Jamie was an awesome guide. So knowledgeable and well spoken. We learned so much history and was able to touch the historical sites. It’s incredible to hear how the third reich started. Would recommend to everyone. 10/10.
Thank you for your review, John! I’m glad to hear you found the tour informative and engaging, and that the historical context enhanced your experience (even on such a cold afternoon). Your recommendation means a lot.
Rainy day made it very difficult for tour guide. Very informative and interesting. Guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic!!
Excellent tour! Tons of history shared. Timing at each stop was perfect. Hein was an amazing guide! Lots of walking. We did this and the Dachau tour the same day, so by the end we were exhausted! But it was well worth it! Highly recommend if you enjoy history!
Thank you for the wonderful review! I’m so glad you found the tour well-paced and full of history. Doing both tours in one day is definitely worth it. I’ll be sure to share your kind words with Hein.
This is one of the most interesting and informative tours I’ve ever been on. Jamie was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about this subject. Would recommend for anyone wanting to learn about the history of the Nazi party then and how it relates to world events now.
Thank you for your kind words. I’m very glad to hear you found the tour interesting and informative. It means a lot to know the way I share this history helped connect the past with the present for you.
Third Reich Munich Tour Afternoon Easy to met the our guide Jamie at the appointed place It was a very hot afternoon about 38 degrees, he always found some shade when talking to us. Jamie made this tour interesting, it could have been a history lesson but that was not the case. Jamie had a story to tell us as we went to every building that was part of the tour. Walked for about 2 hrs 30 mins and learned so much. Great Afternoon
Thank you so much! It was a hot one for sure, so I’m really glad we found some shade along the way. I always try to make the history come alive through stories rather than just dates and facts, so I’m thrilled to hear that made a difference for you. Really appreciate you joining the tour!
Jamie was one of the best tour guides I ever had. He is litteraly a living encyclopedia! As we walked, at every corner he had a new story to tell. I highly recommend taking his tour!
Thank you so much for the kind feedback. Very glad to hear the tour was informative and engaging, and that it helped bring the history to life. Your recommendation is much appreciated!
