En este recorrido, disfrutará de la naturaleza japonesa, incluidos los animales y el paisaje al pie del monte. Arashiyama, que se encuentra en el lado oeste de Kioto y famoso por su belleza escénica. Una vez que este distrito estaba abierto solo a los nobles. Ubicado no muy lejos del centro de Kioto, este entorno natural se ha mantenido muy bien hasta nuestros días. Es por eso que puedes interactuar con los monos salvajes muy de cerca. Por la tarde, visitará el Pabellón Dorado (Templo Kinkaku-ji), uno de los templos Zen más famosos de Japón que no olvidará por el resto de su vida.

A 15 minutos a pie de la estación Saga Arashiyama, llegarás a un paraíso de macacos japoneses salvajes después de subir un sendero de montaña ligeramente empinado. Hay alrededor de 120 monos salvajes pero amigables, incluyendo monos bebés lindos que viven en esta área. Puedes verlos jugar muy de cerca y alimentarlos desde un área de descanso cerrada. Además, puede disfrutar de una vista panorámica de toda la ciudad de Kioto desde una altitud de unos 190 metros. Entrada: Adulto 550 yenes. Niños (de 4 a 15 años) 250 yenes. Arashiyama es uno de los centros turísticos más famosos de Japón y una vez estuvo fuera del alcance de todos, excepto los aristócratas. Disfrutaron pasear en bote, contemplando el paisaje y la luna reflejada en el río y compusieron poemas de tanka japoneses sobre ellos. El elegante puente curvo ha sido alabado por los nobles, incluido el Emperador, por su belleza. Su corazón será sanado por este paisaje lleno de naturaleza.
Este parque rico en naturaleza se encuentra al otro lado de Arashiyama. Desde el observatorio del parque puede disfrutar de la espectacular vista de acantilados y el río que fluye en el fondo del valle.
Caminaremos por el mundialmente famoso Bamboo Grove con su increíble belleza y serenidad. Las altísimas columnas de bambú verde que susurran suavemente con el viento son una vista impresionante.
Este templo venerado fue construido por el shogun en 1339 para apaciguar el espíritu del difunto Emperador y está registrado como Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Su jardín es uno de los jardines japoneses más famosos con un Magnífico paisaje con Arashiyama como fondo. La tarifa de admisión es de 500 yenes.
El Templo Kinkaku-ji es muy conocido como una de las principales atracciones turísticas de Japón y algunos pueden notar que el boleto de admisión aparece en una escena de la película "Bohemian Rhapsody". El reflejo del Pabellón Dorado en el estanque con pinos bellamente recortados y rocas preciosas a su alrededor es realmente algo que recuerda a la tierra pura de Buda. La entrada cuesta 400 yenes.

Great day, saw many interesting places, and heard interesting stories about each of the locations. One of my favorite surprises was stopping at a sushi restaurant where the locals in Kyoto eat. Sampling some fun desserts, and a couple of surprises along the way made for a great day. He shared so much history and information- very prepared. Grade A+

My partner and I stayed in Kyoto for a few days and this was a great tour to experience many of the places that we wanted to visit in the small time that we had. We thought there would be more people on this tour but it happened to just be my partner and myself which was great and made the experience more intimate. Our tour guide was Koichi and he was fantastic!!! Koichi was very professional and highly knowledgeable about all the locations we visited and he had a great sense of humour as well. As tourists we often explore places admiring its beauty without knowing the meaning behind them, however this tour allowed us to learn about the histories and significance behind each as well as so many interesting facts about the nature, buildings etc. which made it more meaningful. Koichi went out of his way to make the tour enjoyable for us - he took wonderful photographs of us and even took us to a few additional locations that weren’t included in the tour such as Nishiki Market, where he recommended many different foods / restaurants for us to try and we also tasted his favourite dessert which was delicious! He also took us to the different districts to see some Maiko. Thank you Koichi san for a wonderful day! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto :)
