En este tour de 3 horas de comida y bebida en la Ciudad Vieja de Dubrovnik, descubra auténticos sabores e historia guiados por un experto local con licencia. Tanto un tour de historia como un tour gastronómico, teje siglos de cultura y gastronomía a través de una de las ciudades medievales mejor conservadas de Europa. Visitarás 4 lugares en el camino : un local de comida callejera, dos restaurantes tradicionales de gestión familiar y un local de postres propiedad de un pastelero que trabajó anteriormente en un restaurante con estrella Michelin. Con más de 10 catas y tres vinos locales maridados, probarás recetas que todavía se cocinan en los hogares de Dubrovnik hoy en día, algunas preparadas solo en días específicos del año, y platos arraigados en la tradición de los siglos XVI y XIX de la época de la República de Dubrovnik. La Gran Fuente de Onofrio es un hito destacado en Dubrovnik, Croacia, también un punto de encuentro para nuestro recorrido gastronómico. Ubicada en la entrada del casco antiguo de Dubrovnik, cerca de la Puerta de Pile, esta gran fuente circular es un ejemplo notable de la infraestructura histórica y la grandeza arquitectónica de la ciudad. Construida en 1438 por el renombrado ingeniero italiano Onofrio della Cava, la fuente era parte de un complejo sistema de suministro de agua que traía agua de un manantial ubicado a más de 7 millas de distancia. A pesar de sufrir daños por un terremoto en 1667 y la Guerra de Independencia de Croacia en la década de 1990, la fuente ha sido bien restaurada y continúa sirviendo como una fuente de agua pública funcional, que ofrece refrescos tanto a los lugareños como a los turistas.

Stradun, también conocida como Placa, es la calle principal de Dubrovnik y se considera el sustento de la ciudad. Esta vía peatonal pavimentada con piedra caliza se extiende aproximadamente 300 metros, conecta dos puertas de la ciudad, Pile Gate al oeste y Ploče Gate al este, y atraviesa el corazón del casco antiguo de Dubrovnik, protegido por la UNESCO.
La Columna de Orlando, conocida como "Pilar de Orlando" o "Columna de Roland" en Dubrovnik, es un importante hito histórico ubicado en el corazón del casco antiguo de la ciudad. Erigida en 1418, la columna presenta una estatua del caballero medieval Orlando (o Roland), una figura legendaria que encarna la libertad y la fortaleza de Dubrovnik. Gundulićeva Poljana Market, comúnmente conocido como Gundulić Square Market, es un vibrante mercado al aire libre ubicado en Gundulić Square en el corazón del casco antiguo de Dubrovnik. Llamada así por el famoso poeta de Dubrovnik Ivan Gundulić, la plaza se transforma en un bullicioso mercado cada mañana. Local, authentic and insert here all the other buzzword. There is a bit of walking but not much. Food was great. Guide was great. If you get Ana you will be very lucky - she is very knowledgeable, empathic and authentic. You will also get suggestions for other places. If somebody says - you will get more if you just go around and do it yourselves - then you don't understand what is the value of this tour. We get very personal and detailed explanations and you literally ask about anything. This was one of our trips highlight and I regret that we didn't start with it.

a lot of delicious and unique food with stories behind it - focused on local ingredients, with 3 healthy pours of wine and a shot of local liqueur at the end. definitely didn’t leave hungry!!
