Durante la ocupación, Le Meurice sirvió como cuartel general militar estratégico Alemán para el Gran París. Rue de Rivoli fue uno de los lugares preferidos para los desfiles. En esta parada, discutimos el año 1940 y cómo los alemanes saquearon sistemáticamente Francia.

We have a wonderful time!! This is a great 2.5 hour tour that will teach you about the Nazi occupation.

Margaux is an amazing host, and so knowledgeable about WW2 in the invasion of Paris by the Nazis. It was truly a walk back in history as our tour led us on a walk through 1939 Paris and able to see the actual buildings were created, as well as original photos of the events. Highly recommend this tour.
Fabulous walking tour with Margaux , who was very knowledgeable on the topic, and added her own family’s experience of Paris and France under the occupation. This is a particular interest of mine and I really enjoyed being taken to the actual places and learning more on this topic.
Margaux's tour was fantastic. Learnt so much about the nNazi occupation of Paris and found out so much of what I thought I knew was actually incorrect. There is still so much research going on.
