Con gran placer, le sugerimos un fin de semana especial para conocer, apreciar y probar los mejores vinos moldavos. Durante esta visita, descubrirá varios sabores de vinos y una maravillosa cocina tradicional. Hoy visitaremos uno de los sitios más pintorescos de Moldavia: la Reserva Cultural y Natural «Orheiul Vechi» (Complejo del Monasterio de la Cueva), a 55 km de Chisinau. Aquí verá un monasterio de la cueva ortodoxa llamado "St. Maria Dormata ”se expandió y modificó dentro de los acantilados por los monjes hace siglos y se conservó en un estado funcional. Después de la excursión, almorzaremos con un programa popular en la pensión familiar moldava ubicada en el pueblo vecino.

It was a good tour - nice to travel outside of Chisinau. The first stop was a monastery complex which was very beautiful. The second stop was the monastery in the cave - there is an uphill walk and then stairs to walk down. Wear comfortable shoes. The landscape is very lovely. We then had lunch in a local place (separate cost) and the cheese pie was delicious. After there was an optional tour of Cricova. Make sure you take a hoodie or jacket as the tunnels are 12 degrees. Natalia our guide and Constantine our driver were great.

A gem of an experience! For some reason, we were in a group of 4 which made the tour super personalized and at a calm pace. The guide shared informative bytes about the history, culture and heritage of Moldova linked to the sites visited. The visit to the cave sanctuary was wonderful. The Cricova winery seemed to be fully booked for a tasting at the last minute, but the tour was still informative. The coordination was managed well by the agency. The lunch was delicious and very local. Card payments were accepted at all destinations. Driving was safe and on time as per the plan.
