Únase a un fantástico recorrido familiar por la cueva de hielo en el glaciar Vatnajökull. Aquellos que viajen a la laguna glaciar de Jökulsárlón no deben perderse esta excursión, ya que un recorrido por una cueva de hielo es verdaderamente una experiencia única. Su aventura comienza en Jökulsárlón, donde sus guías del día lo recibirán y le entregarán el equipo para las cuevas de hielo. Luego abordarás un 4x4 modificado o un súper jeep para llegar a las cuevas. El viaje hasta las cuevas dura sólo unos 30 minutos, pero es emocionante y el magnífico paisaje en el camino seguramente te dejará sin aliento. Las guías son muy informativas y entretenidas; te contarán datos sobre la zona, historias de la comunidad, cuentos de hadas y todo lo que te gustaría saber. Cuando llegue, realizará una corta caminata hasta las cuevas de hielo y sus guías continuarán informándole sobre el gran glaciar Vatnajökull. Una vez en la cueva, tendrás un buen momento para explorar, tomar fotografías y simplemente disfrutar de tus vacaciones.

Nos reunimos en Jökulsárlón y desde allí viajamos durante unos 30-40 minutos en nuestros Super Jeeps hasta Breiðamerkurjökull. Donde visitaremos las siempre cambiantes cuevas de hielo.
Las cuevas de hielo se forman de forma natural y cada otoño los guías van a “cazar cuevas de hielo”, buscando nuevas cuevas y viendo si alguna de las antiguas todavía está allí. Por tanto, la estructura y el estado pueden variar significativamente entre años. Cada día, los guías deciden qué cueva visitarán, todo dependiendo del clima y, por supuesto, de la seguridad de los invitados.

Before you can plunge into the fascinating world of glaciers, you will be driven in an off-road truck over a bumpy track through the beauty of the nature reserve. Hold on tight! When you arrive at the glacier, you will receive a helmet and crampons and set off on foot in less than 10 minutes. You will receive lots of interesting information about the area and the glacier. And then... Wow! An indescribable natural spectacle! Over 40 meters of blue ice stretch above you - a real natural wonder! At the end of the tour, you can even climb the glacier. Our guide was not only super friendly, but also really funny. That made the experience even more unforgettable. So, don't hesitate! Book this tour - you won't regret it!

We had such an amazing time on our ice cave tour. We were lucky to be the only ones booked in for this tour. Our guide, Mike, was really nice, very knowledgeable.
