Por la mañana, lo recogeremos de su hotel en Chennai. Pase el día explorando Marina Beach, el centro cultural de Chennai en el Templo Mylapore Kapaleeshwar y la Basílica de San Thome, seguido de un tradicional almuerzo del sur de la India en un restaurante local y visite el santuario en Ramakrishna Math , seguido de una visita a Fort Saint George del siglo XVII antes de regresar a su hotel.

Camine por la playa Marina, a lo largo del tramo principal de 3 km de la playa Marina, y pasará partidos de cricket, cometas voladoras, adivinos, mercados de pescado, tostadores de maíz y familias que disfrutan de la brisa marina.
Visitamos una organización monástica única llamada Ramakrishna Math, dedicada a Sri Ramakrishna, el santo del siglo XIX. Los huéspedes podrán ver el templo universal, el santuario, un hermoso Mantapam, un museo multimedia y una encantadora biblioteca.
Fort St. George es la primera fortaleza inglesa construida en 1644 por East India Company. Visitaremos la iglesia de Santa María, la iglesia anglicana más antigua de la India. Nuestro evangelista cultural lo llevará a un pintoresco museo lleno de reliquias de la época colonial y volverá a contar la historia de cómo la compañía de las Indias Orientales se transformó de una empresa comercial a una gobernante de la India.
¡Nos dirigimos hacia Mylapore, un antiguo barrio residencial de Chennai cuya historia se remonta a la época romana cuando solía intercambiar pimienta y telas finas con Roma por oro! Visitamos el magnífico templo de Kapaleeshwar. Construido en el siglo VII, este templo está dedicado a Lord Shiva. Construido en arquitectura de estilo Dravidian, tiene un imponente "Gopuram". Los invitados pueden esperar una experiencia fascinante de rituales y serenidad dentro del templo. ¡Nuestro evangelista cultural desmitificará los acontecimientos en el templo!
Este es un templo dedicado a Sai Baba, el gran místico que unió a hindúes y musulmanes y predicó sobre el amor y la fraternidad universales. El templo está construido con mármol blanco y tiene una lámpara que ha estado encendida durante más de 100 años.
Exploraremos el memorial de Swami Vivekananda, quien fue un gran filósofo. Sus discursos en el Parlamento Mundial de Religiones celebrado en septiembre de 1893 lo hicieron famoso como orador por derecho divino y como mensajero de la sabiduría india al mundo occidental. Los lunes está cerrado y en su lugar visitaremos el Museo Egmore.
Visitamos la famosa Basílica de San Thome, la iglesia principal de la Arquidiócesis Católica Romana de Madrás y Mylapore. Podemos ver reliquias de Santo Tomás aquí. Es una de las tres únicas iglesias en el mundo que se ha construido sobre la tumba de un apóstol. Los otros dos son la Basílica de San Pedro en el Vaticano y la Catedral de Santiago de Compostela en España.

Really good tour around the major sites, our guide was very friendly and helpful but English and explanations could have been a bit better and more expansive. Good driver, felt very safe.

Comfortable travelling Our guide, Venkat, was extremely pleasant, friendly, knowledgeable, entertaining, and a joy to spend time with.
