Excursión de un día al Parque Nacional Tortuguero y los canales desde San José
Descripción
Este parque encantado y apartado es el refugio de muchas especies diferentes de vida no solo nativas de Costa Rica, sino también de América. Viajando a través de las aguas de lagunas y canales escondidos mientras los árboles cubiertos de enredaderas en flor se mezclan con su propio reflejo en el agua, tendremos la experiencia única de observar lo más cerca posible varias especies de flora y fauna. Es fácil observar varias especies de cocodrilos, tucanes, monos, tragamonedas, guacamayas, iguanas y algunas otras. Entre estas especies se encuentra la majestuosa tortuga verde (Chelonia mydas) que cuenta en Tortuguero con 21 millas de playa para anidar (julio a octubre); el sitio de anidación más grande del hemisferio occidental. Tortuguero es considerado el sitio de anidación más importante en la mitad occidental del caribe para la tortuga verde que llega a la playa a anidar cada año. . Tenga en cuenta que el recorrido de anidación solo se realiza por la noche y no verá tortugas anidando en la playa durante este recorrido de un día.

Itinerario
Mientras conducimos, primero veremos los cafetales, luego nos dirigiremos a las montañas del Parque Nacional Braulio Carrillo, donde las laderas empinadas están cubiertas de espesos bosques nubosos y se pueden ver hermosas cascadas desde la carretera.
Abandonamos nuestro autobús y nos embarcamos en la parte más emocionante de este recorrido: el viaje en bote a la jungla del Parque Nacional Tortuguero, donde aprenderemos cómo funciona la naturaleza y para tener una idea real de nuestra selva tropical húmeda. Cubriendo 29,000 hectáreas. Tortuguero es uno de los sitios de anidación más importantes de Chelonia Midas, la tortuga verde. Donde sus bosques y vías fluviales albergan mamíferos en peligro de extinción, como perezosos, monos, agutíes, coatíes y manatíes. También hay abundantes pájaros, como tucanes, trogones, garcetas, garzas y aninghas, así como cocodrilos, tortugas e innumerables mariposas de colores, incluido el morfo azul. Después del almuerzo, daremos un paseo por el pueblo de Tortuguero, donde tendremos la oportunidad de aprender sobre la historia del pueblo y sus habitantes. Regresando al autobús, regresaremos a San José, haciendo una parada de descanso en el camino y llegando alrededor de las 6:30 p.m.

It is a long day but is definitely worth it. We saw all of the wild animals we were hoping to see and our guides were very knowledgeable.

We had a great time on this tour! Saw so many cool animals. Friendly and very knowledgeable team. Only four of us plus the guide. It was a long drive out but worth it. Would definitely recommend!

Our guide Al was amazing! He was so excited to point out all the flora and fauna along the way to Limon province. He even brought some delicious local fruit for our group to try. We really enjoyed the river cruise as well as the hike in the jungle. The village of Tortuguero was very interesting too. Highly recommend!

This was a premium experience, pickup in private car, super comfy and nice and cool. Our guide and driver drove our party of 3. We stopped and saw Sloths thanks to eagle eye guide. We had great informative conversations about Costa Rica which only enriched our experience. When we got to tortuguerro we began our bout ride which was a blast, breakfast and lunch was great very cool Tico stops. I could say more but will leave some of the cool stuff for you to see yourself, it's a great tour job at book it for a super cool experience. Thank you Ronnie, and Ronnie#2 (our boat captain. It is a nice and interesting day trip. Firstly the boat trip on the river is very interesting , along the river we were able to see a lot small animals, birds, even crocodiles. The only thing I hope it can be improved is the meals.

It was fun, we ended up only have us 2 and 1 other person. The tour was good, we had to rush because the roads opened late. Not to the fault of our driver/guide. I would say this one section is very physically asking. So be aware that if they tell you to walk up the steps, if you feel it’s not right for you physically, don’t push yourself to do it. However very nice tour :)

The driver with the van was 1h30' late, the whole planning of the guide went wrong and the planned activities did not take place. Because we left too late we ended up in traffic jams on the way back which took another 2h time delayed. I would definitely not book another trip with tripadvisor. It was one of the worst outings we did in Costa Rica.

Outstanding. Still remember the river ride and the amazing birds, animals we saw. This was very much like a ride through the amazon in Brazil. Highly recommended.

This was one of our best tours we experienced while visiting Costa Rica. It was a long day but we saw so much wild life it was awesome. The guide was absolutely amazing with his knowledge and experience.
