Itinerario

The bar code is not your ticket. You have to download the app and go find it. By the time you figure that all out by visiting the information center you have missed your entry time.
I would warn anyone not to buy tickets through Tripadvisor. We purchased our tickets and were told they would send us an electronic ticket to get into the Tower of Pisa. The day before our visit we received an email from Tripadvisor which supposedly included our ticket which they suggested we add to our "wallet". We did as told, but when we arrived at the Tower they wouldn't accept the ticket we had (even though it said it was our ticket). We were told we needed Tripadvisor to send us a ticket on the day of our visit. My son and his wife had the same experience with their tickets. Our tickets were non-refundable so we lost our $$. To make matters worse we couldn't get into any of the other buildings, even the ones that were "free" because we didn't have a ticket from Tripadvisor for the Tower. This is not the first time this has happened. I'll stick with Viator or one of the other ticket vendors from now on.
I approached a Ticket Agent at the entrance of the Tower just to get instructions on skipping the line. I informed her that I purchased a “Skip the Line” ticket. She said that no such ticket exists and that I would need to queue up like everyone else. Please aware of this - There is No Such Thing as a Skip the Line Ticket!!. Also, you can’t take any bags up the stairs of the Leaning Tower. They have a Locker System nearby the Leaning Tower entrance for you to store your bag. You will need your ticket to reserve a Storage Locker - No Extra Charge. To walk to the Top of the Leaning Tower takes around 294 Steps One Way - Not Too Bad of a Stair Hike. I Enjoyed My Time at the Leaning Tower!
Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the climb to the top. To clarify for future travelers: all official tickets for the Tower include timed entry, You have actually "skipped the line for buying tickets". Entry is managed through the set times on your ticket. People ascended onto the tower has to descend. We appreciate you sharing practical tips about lockers and steps, which will certainly help others. We’re so glad you had a memorable experience!
