Disfrute de una excursión de un día, ya que lo recogeremos de su hotel en Siem Reap y conduciremos 15 km desde Siem Reap hasta los muelles de botes de Chong Khneas. Iremos a bordo de un barco local para dar un agradable paseo por el Tonle Sap a través de los pueblos flotantes de Chong Khneas y pueblos sobre pilotes altos. Este recorrido lo llevará a dos pueblos diferentes a lo largo de las llanuras aluviales de Tonle Sap. Descubra el ciclo de flujo distintivo del lago Tonle Sap y cómo este hecho lo convierte en el recurso económico y ecológico más importante de Camboya. Al visitar las aldeas flotantes y el mercado de Chong Kneas, Kopong Phluk con bosque de manglares y Kompong Phluk es la aldea sobre pilotes altos, obtenga información sobre cómo los aldeanos viven en armonía de manera única en este entorno poco común sobre/sobre el agua. Itinerario
Disfrute de un recorrido de 5 a 6 horas mientras lo recogemos de su hotel a las 8:00 a.m. Conduciremos 15 km al sur de Siem Reap hasta los muelles de botes de Chong Kneas.
Luego abordaremos un bote local para dar un agradable paseo por el Tonle Sap, pasando por el pueblo flotante de Chong Khneas. Tonle Sap es el lago más grande del sudeste asiático y se extiende por la parte noroeste de Camboya. El lago es económicamente importante ya que sirve como fuente principal de muchos tipos de peces. Se hincha a diez veces su tamaño normal durante la temporada de lluvias, aportando diversos recursos acuáticos. También sirve como hábitat para varias especies de aves acuáticas. Chong Khneas es un pueblo flotante en las afueras de Tonle Sap. Explore las casas flotantes, compuestas principalmente por vietnamitas, y reconocibles por las casas de colores brillantes. Eche un vistazo a la vida del pueblo flotante mientras pasamos por casas flotantes, escuelas, clínicas, pabellones deportivos e incluso granjas de cerdos. Pararemos en Gecko Environment Center, donde podrá aprender más sobre la ecología y la rica biodiversidad de Tonle Sap y las llanuras aluviales circundantes.
Continuaremos nuestro viaje en barco hasta el pueblo de pescadores de Kompong Phluk. Las casas aquí están construidas sobre pilotes. Este pueblo se compone casi exclusivamente de origen jemer. Los aldeanos se mudan de casa según la temporada. Viven sobre pilotes durante la estación lluviosa y se mudan a pequeñas chozas cerca de las orillas durante la estación seca. Visitará la pagoda, el único edificio del pueblo que no está construido sobre pilotes, y observará a los aldeanos realizar sus actividades diarias. Luego se trasladará a una canoa pequeña (de agosto a enero como opcional) para que los aldeanos la remen y lo lleven a lo profundo del denso bosque de manglares. Los manglares están especialmente adaptados al entorno inundado y pueden sobrevivir de manera impresionante estando completamente sumergidos durante una parte del año. Lo trasladaremos de regreso a su hotel en Siem Reap después de visitar Kampong Phluk Village.

Overpriced. Disappointing. Dropped us at a floating cafe, caged miserable scared looking animals, baby crocs handed to people to hold, unethical, and tried to rip us off by saying you could only go around the floating village if you paid extra 20USD. We thought that was the trip we were getting! Phoned our tuktuk driver and he made our boat take us around the edge, no stilt village as mentioned, we'd recommend giving this one a miss. Many other disappointed and pissed off tourists here too, they should explain before you go that you need to pay extra if you actually want to go around the village. And no respect for animals here, just put for show. Guide included was angling for tips. Felt pretty unprofessional. Recommend going to a further away lake spot for hopefully a much better and authentic experience, as this one wasn't.
This was one of my favorite things we did in Cambodia. It felt like a sneak peak into rural life here and especially life in the fishing villages. You will stop at the floating villages and then also walk through the town (or canoe though depending on the water levels when you visit). We got to visit some of the locals home and see how they live, prepare food, and work. We also stopped in the school where the children were anxious to show off the English they are learning. Lunch at the restaurant was lovely! Thank you Nak and Sokhen for a great experience.
The trip was amazing! The views are so beautiful, fishing village is something I’ve never seen before. It’s even difficult to find words to express fillings! Special thanks to our guid Choub! He made our tour even more interesting with telling a stories about history and local traditions.

On a very hot day we had a lovely cruise on the largest freshwater lake in southeastern Asia. Although a long drive from Siem Reap, the journey was worth it. The floating village was fascinating with every conceivable facility available including Churches and restaurants.

Nak was an amazing tour guide, went above and beyond to cater to our interests and personalise our experience! My favourite was Kamplong Pluk village, the floating village where you can see the culture of the temples and schools. Highly recommend if in Siem Reap.

This was a refreshing trip to Tonle Sap Lake! It was fascinating for me to learn about the two floating villages in the area as well as the respective adaptations have to cope with the weather conditions. Highly recommended!

Our family of 4 had a highly interesting trip to two floating villages guided by Mr Van Lonh. We learnt a lot from his sharing of the villager’s way of life and the eco-system in Tonle Sap. He was teamed by the driver, Mr Vong whose MPV is spacious and clean. We were assured by his safe driving. The highlight for me was to paddle the canoe among tall mangroves in the lake. I highly recommend this trip. 👍
