We recently booked a tour with Windland Tours to visit the three stunning UNESCO monasteries in Portugal, and the experience exceeded all of our expectations. From the very beginning, the booking process and logistics were seamless, making our journey completely stress-free. Vera, our tour guide was absolutely phenomenal. Her deep knowledge, passion for Portuguese history, and brilliant storytelling brought these sacred and historic spaces to life. Instead of just looking at beautiful architecture, we truly understood the spiritual and historical significance behind every stone. She was also incredibly patient, attentive, and warm, ensuring everyone in our group had a wonderful experience Windland Tours handled all the details perfectly, allowing us to just relax and take in the journey. If you want a seamless, enriching, and high-quality tour in Portugal, look no further. Highly recommended!
Took this private tour as well as a full day at Porto with Goncalo. His professionalism is unparalleled, his storytelling about Portugal's history was most enjoyable, we wanted more. Very friendly. Well deserved praise for a job well done. We highly recommend him and his team to anyone travelling to Portugal.

Vera is a wonderful guide. She reached out to me to introduce herself after I booked my tour to confirm details. She is an interesting storyteller of history in person. It was a delight to spend the day with her and the tour was masterfully handled to insure all three UNESCO sites got an adequate treatment. It was alot to do in one day, but so glad I took this trip!
Our experience was incredible. It was such a pleasure to have Vera as our guide. I had a feeling that we were able to see more than other visitors, find all those hidden symbols. It is precious when you meet people like Vera who are so passionate and have amazing personality. I am sure my visit would not be so enjoyable if it was not for her. I highly recomend this tour.
Fantastic day trip from Lisbon. The history, scenery and churches were excellent. Goncalo was a really good guide and is very knowledgeable about many things about Portugal in addition to the 3 sites we visited. Well worth the time.
My family and I (2 adults, 3 kids - 17/14/11) had an amazing day with Vera. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humor. The tour was well paced, we never felt rushed or bored. Vera was a safe driver and by the end of the trip we said goodbye to a friend. Highly recommend!
The three monuments were amazing and truly worth a visit. Our tour guide Gonçalo was very knowledgeable and nice. He gave us plenty of good stories about the monuments and the cities we visited, recommended good picture spots for our family. I will definitely recommend.

Incredible tour, full of interesting history and architecture. The monasteries were inspiring. Golzalo was an excellent guide, quite knowledgeable, flexible and personable. The pace was relaxed. Highly recommended.
My tour guide was Vera who promptly picked me up at my hotel in Lisbon. Vera has a wealth of knowledge about Portugal, both historical and contemporary. She also has an excellent command of the English language, so our long drive to Tomar and from Alcobaca were filled with lots of conversation about a wide variety of topics. When visiting the monasteries, she pointed out lots of fascinating details and knew where to take the photographs. I emphatically endorse this tour with Vera.
Our tour guide was really knowledgeable and friendly. The chapel and Tomar was one of the highlights of our trip.
