La ciudad Toledo está rodeada `por una muralla desde la época de los romanos y tuvo que ser reconstruida por el rey visigodo Wamba en 674. La muralla actual es de origen árabe donde podemos encontrar algunos restos romanos. Al rey Alfonso VI, se le concede la finalización de las obras de la muralla en 1085, tras reconquistar la ciudad. Esta muralla está protagonizada por sus puertas de entrada y salida, como la Puerta de Bisagra, la Puerta de Alfonso VI o la Puerta del Cambrón.
La Plaza de Zocodover es una plaza de la ciudad de Toledo. Fue el centro neurálgico de la ciudad durante la mayor parte de su historia, actuando como su plaza principal. Una parte fue diseñada por Juan de Herrera en tiempos del reinado de Felipe II
El Alcázar de Toledo es una fortificación de piedra ubicada en la parte más alta de Toledo. Fue utilizado como palacio romano en el siglo III y restaurado bajo Carlos I y su hijo Felipe II de España en la década de 1540.
Visitaremos la Catedral Primada de Santa María de Toledo, iglesia católica romana y sede de la Arquidiócesis Metropolitana de Toledo.
La Sinagoga de Santa María la Blanca es hoy un museo pero antiguamente fue la sinagoga de Toledo. Erigida en 1180, según una inscripción en una viga, es discutiblemente considerado el edificio de sinagoga más antiguo de Europa que aún se conserva. Ahora es propiedad de la Iglesia Católica y la conserva.
La Iglesia de Santo Tomé es una iglesia ubicada en el centro histórico de la ciudad de Toledo, y fue fundada tras la reconquista de esta ciudad por el rey Alfonso VI de León. Aparece citado en el siglo XII, construido en el sitio de una antigua mezquita del siglo XI.

Toledo is historically an important city and a place that for nearly a 9 century Christian's and Jews lived under Islamic rule peacefully. As the 1st capital city contains a lot of great art and architecture. Too many skip it.
The overall experience was wonderful. The tour guide Oscar was very knowledgeable, witty and very considerate of those of us who lagged at some point. The driver Lorena expertly handles the bus and got us to and from our destination safely and quickly.
Our Madrid-to-Toledo tour was excellent! Carlos and our driver were both amazing. Carlos explained everything clearly and made us feel very welcome. He spoke in both English and Spanish, ensuring everyone could understand and enjoy the tour. If you’re visiting Madrid, be sure to book this trip—it is absolutely worth it!
We had an amazing excursion to Toledo with Oscar! He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. Beatriz was our tour guide and Lorena was our driver, and they both were excellent!! Beatriz knew about my condition and took care of it from the check- in, wherever there was an option to sit she would give me that option. Wherever there were elevators she would point me to those. This tour could have been otherwise very exhausting but she made it very pleasant for me without me losing any information at all. She was very knowledgeable, passionate about her job and compassionate! I really really appreciated her from the bottom of my heart! Thank you Beatriz!! 🙏🙏 The driver Lorena drove wonderfully and also when she could drive slowly she did, and we could take pictures! Overall Fun and tickets tour guides and drivers are wonderful!
