We were able to fully customize our city tour. Taka, our guide was very helpful, accommodating and professional! He is also very knowledgeable and provided very informative insights! Thank you, Taka.
The tour was amazing, the better was the hospitality of our guide takanari “taka” , he explain all and answer all the questions and recomendations very friendly. It was a very good tour I will take it when i return with my family
Taka met us at our hotel at 7pm and helped us get on the subway system to travel to west Tokyo to see the sites there. The nightlife on a Wednesday was busy and the different stores (visit with the pigs) was eye opening. We then went to see Shibuya Crossing. Again it was crazy how many people could be seen crossing and dancing in the intersection on a weeknight. Taka also made sure we got back to our hotel without getting lost in the subways. All in all an enjoyable evening.
Taka was a great guide, he was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. Also very considerate and helpful as the day of our tour was very hot and humid.
The tour with Taka was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed a full day of sightseeing and a delicious lunch. Taka is knowledgeable and welcoming! We learned about the history of various sites and the culture. He even helped with translating when we passed by a store I had been looking for. It felt like we were spending an afternoon with an old friend. We also appreciated that he is actually Japanese and from Tokyo, but his English is also very good. We did the 8-hr tour and were completely exhausted after, but it was worth every minute. Highly recommend!
Mami gave us a one of a kind personalized tour. We hit all the standard highlights (imperial palace, red bell temple, etc), but took detours to see the unique tokyo highlights that would interest our group (e.g., where to buy a vintage discman). She even helped us with our bullet-train tickets for the next day.

Me and my friend had a blast with our guide Mami! She was super helpful and knowledgeable and we had heaps of fun. Her English was perfect which helped a lot as well! She was also the guide for Tracey McGrady, she’ll be able to share some stories and pictures if you’re interested! Would totally recommend if you’re looking for a diverse, fun, and informative Tokyo experience with a fluent English speaker!!
