Jordan was absolutely amazing 👏 . Very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind.
I arrived to meet Jordan and found out I was his only customer. What a great day. In warm and sunny weather, Jordan took me on a discovery tour of Mt Takeo. We took the cable car up, walked along a beautiful bush track, visited temples and shrines, meanings of which Jordan explained. We were lucky to see some monks marching off to prayer chants playing music as they walked. Then we saw the monkeys and took the chairlift back down. For lunch, as we were a bit early for Ramen we had soba. It was excellent. A brief museum visit and then off to the Onsen. So very relaxing after a decent walk, especially for these old tired legs (70 in a few days). Jordan was more than a guide he was great company. Don't miss this tour!
Jordan the tour guide was such a great person and Kindly helped me out to some english-japanese translations. The price is worth for what is all included. Great explanations, great ramen, and great time
Jordan was a phenomenal guide we learned so much from him and had a blast along the way. We had a great time exploring Mt Takao and relaxing in the hot springs afterwards. Would definitely recommend!
Incredible experience. This tour is exactly as advertised and more. Jordan, the guide, is super easy going, knowledgeable and very welcoming. It was a pleasure to spend the day with him and the other guests on this tour. A nice relaxed hike with beautiful views (we saw Fuji!) and plenty of breaks along the way, my wife and I are not experienced hikers but this was easy for us. Interesting stories all the way and plenty of room to ask questions. A delicious ramen for lunch, a stop at the monkey park on the way back down and then a drive to a super nice tattoo friendly hot spring. The meeting point was the only downside to the day, which is about an hour away from central Tokyo on public transport, but all in all it was well worth the long trip. Book this tour if you're looking for a relaxed day in nature with good people and definitely if you're tattooed and want to experience a real hot spring in Japan.
Beautiful weather in early May Japan to go on a hike to Mount Takao. Great atmosphere in nature. Only crowded at top of Mount Takao. My guide Jordan was knowledgeable and kind! Highly recommended to all Will require good walking shoes and basic fitness. Fee included entry to onsen and ramen. Length of visit was around 5-6 hours.
Friendly guide, English speaking and very patient in explaining each questions asked especially to those first time in Japan. Keep up the good work!
This was by far the best tour of our holiday. Jordan is so knowledgeable about the history of Mount Takao, the temples and shrines. He took us on a long nature walk to the Ramen restaurant. Not only was the food delicious but the people serving it were super friendly. Being in a small group - there were only 4 of us - means you don’t just see the sights but absorb the atmosphere. The final offering - the Onsen - was just so relaxing and very welcome after a long day’s walking. Thank you Jordan driving us back to the station and for giving us an unforgettable day. One suggestion - allow plenty of time to get to the meeting place. It is a fair way from the centre of Tokyo
Jordan is an excellent tour guide who is very knowledgeable on the history of Mt. Takao. He is fluent in English and Japanese, and gave us an excellent experience. Would recommend to anyone coming to visit Tokyo.
Very knowledgeable and friendly. Knows the local shops well and has great recommendations. Fee was very reasonable for the time and care provided. Great experience overall. Length of the guided tour was from 8am to 4pm.
