It was challenging for me because of my size but I had so much FUN! I enjoyed my private session! I want to book again!
I would highly recommend this session if you are a beginner like myself. Ryo is a great teacher and helps correct the small details in your practice, these small details make Kyoukushin a refined fighting style. OSU!
Ryo was patient and taught as much as he could in an hour and a half. We don't waste time on long intervals or talking too much. He is very calm about photos and videos, you can take your tripod and he has his too. Be careful not to be confused with the address as he uses two locations to give classes, pay attention to what he informs when communicating with vc.
It was great experience, I learned a lot and I'm glad I did go when I was in Japan. I am from New Jersey but was something I wanted to do and I enjoyed it and I learned more than I would have expected. I would recommend.
Training like an all-Japan champion was so fun! Sensei Ryo is amazing! Getting to do karate in Japan has long been a dream of mine, and even though I’m very out of shape and practice, he was patient (and had water for me lol). It was so cool to see the similarities between our styles, see a demonstration, and run through katas and some kumite. I saw and booked this last minute taking the target of opportunity, and I’m so glad I did!
Ryo is a very patient and professional coach! During this trip to Japan, we specially arranged a class with Ryo, who had studied the Empty Way for years, as a Christmas present for Empty Way. After the class, Shikoku said he benefited a lot, which is a wonderful Japanese travel experience! I would also like to thank the teacher in particular for the timely coordination and understanding, highly recommended to everyone interested in the empty hand!
This was a very good one on one Karate lesson, the instructor gave very clear instructions as the lesson progressed. My wife took lots of pictures and videos during the lesson which we now have as a collection to look at. The class took place in a room in a gym which was very comfortable and had a nice friendly feeling. I took a lot of water breaks which was needed and welcome. At the end I received a certificate which I am very proud of.
Amazing experience 10/10! The instructor was super friendly and made it easy to follow! We learned many cool moves that I will definitely be trying out haha!
Was a fantastic experience. Sensei Ryo is thorough and adjusts the lesson to your skill level. I train in Shotokan so it was great getting experience in Kyokushin karate and seeing the parallel between the two styles. Thanks again Sensei Ryo, I will remember this experience for a lifetime.
Absolutely brilliant karate experience for my two children (both shotokan karateka). Ryo was kind and gentle with them, whilst giving them a great experience of kyokushin. My kids loved this experience so much and we can’t recommend highly enough! Well done Ryo!
