El último taller de tapas en Málaga

My friends and I take a cooking class every time we travel because food and cooking is a wonderful way to meet people and learn about the geography and culture of a region. Our chef, Alba took us on a market tour to tell us about the ingredients we would be using. The market was a destination in itself! We visited the following day for stuff to take home. We made some wonderful dishes! A stewed pork with carmelized onions and marsala raisins, shrimp with the most amazing sauce, tortilla de patata, fetuccini with vegetables and another with seafood. We tasted olive oils and got recipes for everything. We cooked with people of all ages and from all over Europe. It was a day to be remembered and we have the recipes to share with our friends and families!

We had a very good time during this workshop. Fatima did a very good job and the food was delicious. Would recommend it when in Málaga!

This was a fantastic cooking class! Carlos our chef was so fun and really made the experience personal. We loved the walk to the market and the little bit of history he shared about the food and surrounding area! I highly recommend Carlos and this class!

Great! Definitely a recommendation to do once

I had a fantastic experience at this tapas cooking class. Our chef, Alba, is incredibly knowledgeable and she shared so many useful tips during the workshop - not only about preparing some of the most iconic Spanish tapas, but also about Spanish cuisine, culinary traditions and the differences between olive oils. We had the opportunity to taste some truly exceptional olive oils, alongside delicious food and very tasty Spanish wines. Alba was very warm and friendly, making sure everyone was involved and always had something to do. She managed the cooking times and the whole process like a true professional, so everything felt relaxed, well organized and truly enjoyable. Thank you so much, Alba! 🫶 We left the class with our own gifted aprons and detailed recipes for all the dishes, so we could recreate the experience at home. I have already made tortilla de patatas afterwards, and it came out perfect! This class was not only a great opportunity to learn from a passionate chef, but also a wonderful way to experience Spanish food and culture, meet great people and enjoy an absolutely delicious meal. We enjoyed our culinary experience, expertly led by Carlos. He shared interesting facts with us during both the market visit and the cooking class. He managed to support all 14 of us to make yummy sangria, tapas and churros in a kind, helpful and efficient manner. And the results were delish! Muchas gracias, Carlos!

One of the very best experiences I’ve had! We booked the tapas workshop with the market visit. Carlos is a fantastic host and guide, so much fun, welcoming, and attentive to everyone in the group. During the market tour, not only did he show us the best local products, but Carlos also shared fascinating historical stories about the area that made the walkthrough super engaging. Back at the kitchen, we felt right at home while making delicious tapas, mixing sangria, and churros. I’d repeat this in a heartbeat! :)
