Sumérgete en el silencio del desierto de Atacama y descubre uno de los cielos nocturnos más lindos de la Tierra. A un corto trayecto desde San Pedro de Atacama, lejos de las luces del pueblo, millones de estrellas aparecen sobre ti y la Vía Láctea se extiende por el cielo del desierto. The Roofless Experience es una experiencia astronómica en grupos pequeños que combina observación con telescopio, charla astronómica y un ambiente relajado bajo las estrellas. Con 2 potentes telescopios de 16", observarás estrellas, nebulosas, cúmulos estelares y constelaciones australes, mientras tu guía explica la ciencia e historia detrás del cosmos de una manera atractiva y accesible. Entre observaciones, relájate bajo las estrellas con una copa de vino, chocolate caliente o té y ricos snacks, abrigado con cálidas mantas. Para completar la noche, cada invitado recibe una foto profesional bajo el cielo de Atacama. The Private Universe es nuestra opción privada para momentos especiales.

Itinerario
El tour comienza con la recogida de los pasajeros en el hospedaje, esto por lo general toma aproximadamente 30 minutos, después nos desplazaremos hacia nuestras instalaciones unos 7km a las afueras de San Pedro donde los esperará nuestro guía.
Les daremos una breve charla de bienvenida y haremos las fotografías de recuerdo, es muy importante venir con ropa abrigada y de colores claros. Después tendremos una pequeña charla sobre astronomía relacionada con la formación estelar y el uso de los telescopios. Para finalizar, haremos uso de los telescopios de 14 pulgadas para descubrir el universo, donde podrás disfrutar, de dependiendo la fecha de tu viaje, diferentes tipos de estrellas, nebulosas, planetas y demás objetos que te dejaran sin palabras.
Una vez finalizada la experiencia iniciamos el retorno a San Pedro dejando a todos los pasajeros en sus respectivos hospedajes.

El tour comienza con la recogida de los pasajeros en el hospedaje, esto por lo general toma aproximadamente 30 minutos, después nos desplazaremos hacia nuestras instalaciones unos 7km a las afueras de San Pedro donde los esperará nuestro guía. - No ofrecemos recogida en hospedajes que esten fuera del redio urbano de San Pedro, esto es por ejemplo los Ayllus como Coyo, Beter, Sequitor, Quitor, Solor o Tulor.

Great experience. Jhonathan and team clearly care and are passionate about stargazing. We were able to learn about the southern skies, observe the skies through telescopes (seeing Saturn and its rings was a highlight) and take some amazing photos (and learn how to better utilise our phone cameras!). The tour starts very late but it’s worth the wait to see a very dark sky. Saw many shooting stars too - very special!
Great experience with lots of cool learnings and photo shoots and food and wine! If you are doing this in August, be sure to wear ultra thick as it gets freezing cold!!

An incredible experience with Atacama Tours! We took four tours with them and all of them were excellent. From the first moment, the service was wonderful and they made sure to recommend activities appropriate for traveling as a family and with children. We especially loved the tour of the Moon Valley. The manager guided us very well and organized a private experience totally adapted to our needs. The drivers were very kind, attentive, and professional during all the tours. The private service, the comfort, the snacks, and all the attention were spectacular. Everything was very well organized and the food was delicious. The astronomical tour was truly magical. We were able to observe nebulae, stars, and other objects in the sky using a high-powered telescope. It was a fantastic and unforgettable experience for both the adults and the children. The experience was great! The photos were well done, they tried to get through it quickly for a large group but ensured everyone got a good photo to be happy with at the end of the experience. The drink + snack board was a great touch while we were learning more from Jhonathan educating us before we dove into the telescope viewing. We saw so many different things and he always explained and helped ensure we could see what we needed to. Definitely recommend the experience!
