- Si bien no es necesario tener experiencia en una bicicleta eléctrica (proporcionaremos una orientación y haremos un viaje de prueba para asegurarnos de que esté cómodo antes de salir), ¡por supuesto, debe poder andar en bicicleta! Si no ha viajado por un tiempo, para su disfrute / seguridad y la de sus compañeros, recomendamos que tenga práctica en su casa antes de su visita a Auckland. Además de andar en nuestras maravillosas rutas ciclistas, por supuesto, a veces andaremos por la carretera (¡para llegar a los lugares buenos!). Viajar en el tráfico es un entorno dinámico, por lo que tendrá que estar cómodo en la carretera para disfrutar del recorrido. Y el pasado volcánico de Auckland significa que hay muchas colinas para subir y bajar. Las bicicletas electrónicas facilitan el ascenso, ¡pero obviamente tendrás que poder ir cuesta abajo!

What an amazing e-bike tour of Auckland! We loved it! Quality bikes, amazing safe and extensive cycle path network all around Auckland and Eddie was a brilliant guide! He took us up to Mount Eden (volcano) and the views were out of this world! His commentary was great. When we are back in Auckland we would love to do another of his tours, thanks Eddie and thanks also for the comprehensive list of restaurant and cafes recommendations!

Best e-bike tour of our trip! Our guide, Eddie was a wonderful guide; knowledgeable, fun with a friendly calm energy. The e bikes were top quality - very comfy and easy to use. The headsets were a great idea so we could always hear Eddie. Auckland is very bike friendly which makes it easier to travel this way. It is quite hilly so e bikes are the way to go. Great use of your time to do a tour. I highly recommend this tour.

We were on a New Zealand cruise, and pre-booked this bike trip tour. Finding the shop where Power to the Pedal is located was easy. It’s just off the ship as you walk towards the port. It was a fabulous and easy trip. We love these electric bikes. I wish there would’ve been room for us to do the classic longer tour because we loved this. We safely road through the city up to the top of the nearest volcano and down. We would totally do this again and loved Eddie’s comments and touring expertise.

Was a blast, the tour guide Eddie was absolutely hilarious, saw so much of the city I would have never seen. If you have time in Auckland, it is a must do, the bikes were badass and the trails, especially the downhill heading back downtown was amazing, would do the tour again in a heartbeat.

Eddie the owner & guide is a fantastic host and made our trip so much fun! Our group was 5 and several of us were first time riders he gave great instructions and took us on a great tour starting at the harbor that was a buzz of activity as the Gran Prix was sailing that day, then looping around Auckland and back to the pier. Eddie takes photos along the way and sends you a link afterwards at No Added fee! For anyone coming in on a cruise ship you’ll find Power to the Pedal a short 5 minute walk down the pier - so easy! He also points out many great shops and restaurants along the way so you can enjoy Auckland just like a local! This tour will be a favorite I’m sure and it’s a great value too!

Perfect way to start our visit to New Zealand. Thank you Matthew for your informative stories and humor. This was a perfect way to fight through our jet lag after 24 hours of travel, haha. My sister and I absolutely loved our eBike tour with Power To The Pedal. It was such a fun and easy way to explore Auckland, and the eBikes made getting around effortless while still feeling active. Our guide, Eddie, was excellent—friendly, knowledgeable, and really engaging. He shared interesting local history and insights, made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe, and kept the tour enjoyable from start to finish. We saw parts of Auckland we never would have found on our own, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in New Zealand. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Auckland!
